Works well from the box and seems robust and quiet. It is being used in an agricultural sprayer and it has more pressure and greater throughput than the old one so have had to dial back some settings. It comes with an inline filter so you don't need to purchase an extra.

Excellent pump and good value for many. This is my second one. I use it on a liveaboard boat, where i work from home it Lasted longer than a jabsco. Recommended

Bought this pump after reading reviews and to replace a much cheaper less powerful one in my camper so that I could use the shower it worked fine on installation and on our first trip away after installing the pump it simply stopped working ?? . On our return I checked online and found several comments on an issue with the pressure switch overheating. I investigated this and when I moved the wire at the rear of the pump it started up again but then it failed to cut off after blowing the pipe off my water tap and flooding my van !!!! . When i reached in again the moved the wire one of the switch wires fell off in my hand the pump itself seems to be excellent its a pity the pressure switch is not of the same quality ?? I am currently trying to get in touch with Seaflo to invoke the warrant . Extremely disappointed.

Bought for offgrid static. I needed something powerful enough to give enough water pressure from an IBC to activate my hot water boiler. Very impressed with this pump. Much quieter than my previous pump which wouldn't give enough pressure for the boiler to kick in and excellent pressure for the shower.Easy to install. Highly recommended

Runs better and pumps faster than the first one but as it gets older it becomes more noisier. This four stars.

Quiet, well built, feels like a little fire extinguisher. Nice big rubber grommets on the mounting bracket. Comes with a filter and some adapters but after fitting the filter on the in side, the threading let me stick standard hose adapters (the nipple with the little thread reduction inset you get everywhere for pennies) on both ends making this super easy to install.Wish i'd bought this first:Now, i had one of those small cheap pumps with the single chamber and that plastic V front/top that claims silly PSI. It had small diameter fittings and was kind of a pain to adapt to a garden hose. It just about ran the hose enough to water the garden from my water butts.I bought one of those irrigation kits. Little pump could run 1 or 2 of the little sprinklers then basically gave up. The sealfow 55-series, however, smashed it. Better pressure than my mains. I was so happy to see all the little sprinklers belting out water like they were supposed to. This thing works great and has saved the project.The only issue is i used cheap tubing with the small pump and this pump sucks hard enough to pinch the cheap clear plastic hose and kill the flow. Gonna rework the project with sturdier standard garden hoses throughout. Also, in all this abuse, pinched flow, air in the system and my water butts coughing up a small tree worth of crap under the new hi-flow... the little filter with the pump caught it all and the pump handled it all nicely. Also, even when choking due to the cheap hose pinch it wasn't louder than the little pump its replacing.It's 12v and can draw up to 17amp so decent thickness wire, a sensible fuse recommended. Given it out performs my mains supply i expect this would do a great job of running water for a caravan or boat which is what I believe its intended for. It's a serious bit of kit and unlike the clones the specs advertised are accurate. Wish i'd spent the money straight off to get the proper kit.

Gives an excellent flow rate with good pressure. It's used to irrigate the garden using water from my well.Excellent build quality and comes with filter and hose connecters.

Great powerful pump, I used mine to run a reach and wash system but after 2-3days a week use it's now getting scalding hot to touch and popping the fuse so I think this motor is shot on it. I'll order the same again to see if I get the same failure. It's a shame because for the time it was working it was the best pump I've had in the 18 years I've used water pumps.
