Bath time
Not got a bath. So until i can afford one to be fitted i will use this as a bath. Got the waist water outlet to drill and fit. Put a hose pipe conection on tap so will be filling from my mixer sink tap with a hot water flexi pipe to this plasterers bath. Strong enough to take weight of me getting out of it but will add a bit or support and strength to it as a safety thing. So very nice item and strong and sturdy

Using to soak haynets for my horse
Great size for soaking haynets. Not deep enough to completely submerge the net, but at half full it's easy to roll the net over halfway through soaking. Easy to lift heavy wet haynet out of, and easy to tip the water out afterwards. Good solid plastic bath and safer than using a 2nd hand real bath as it doesn't have any sharp corners.

Does the job !
This is a great idea for me. It's basically a dog dipping station. In the winter I got really fed up of my 2 Cocker Spaniels finding every muddy pool and stream and other bits of woodland to wallow in and bring home. Dragging each dog upstairs for a bath got old really quickly. So I bought this bath filled it full of water and dipped the dogs in it then towelled them dry. Result ! The dogs actually seemed to prefer it to the bath as they didn't slip and could look out. So if you filled this thing it would come to about shoulder height of a Cocker Spaniel. Half full and it's belly height and great for the dogs. Now the summer is coming along I'm looking to leave this out in the garden full and let the pair of them dip in and out to stay cool during really hot days. the Bath is very light and durable, stable, and seems really hard wearing. What's not to like ??? Buy One.

The bath I received was not 4ft x 2ft x 1ft. The width including the lip was actually 67 cm. The length measured from the top is 127cm. If your working in a tight space, this makes all the difference, as I can't fit the bath threw the door to its intended room. Aside from the measurement s it is a good solid tub perfect for the dogs to get a wash. It would also make a good pond. The delivery from hdnl came at 7.15 am. That was not so good.Further to this review, i said it was perfect for the dogs , well I decided to give it a try myself. It is also perfect for a human to bath in. It does well to retain the heat. Its light enough to pour the last bit of water into a bucket when emptying. If you have a small shower room and no bath tub then this is ideal

Creating outside pond with this!
I actually bought two of these, as the intention was to create a pond outside. I felt two, one inside the other, would create a much greater resistance to the pressure of the water once tubs were filled up.To be honest, I don't really think I needed two in hindsight, they are really strong.Even buying two, it still worked out loads cheaper than buying a decent preformed pond liner. One thing I would say, is if you are planning on using for the same thing, give the tubs a good swill with the hose and allow to air for a few days, as they do tend to have quite a chemical smell with them. Completely gone with a swill and a couple of days or so in the fresh air though.

Best £35+p&p that I ever spent!
This is perfect if you live somewhere without a "proper" bath. You can fill it in just over 5 mins from a power shower. It only takes 4 or 5 buckets of water to get as full as most people would want (ie much less than I thought I'd need). It's sturdier than I thought it would be, though it is a bit shorter than a standard bath. The lack of a plug is a huge advantage because there's no way the water can come out unintentionally. Also no sign at all of the sides giving way under pressure of water. Presumably you'd have to fill it to the brim and leave it for weeks for this to take place, which wouldn't happen if you're using it as a bathtub.I've got no complaints at all.

Bought to use as a Bath
Last Autumn my partner and I were allocated a bungalow but sadly, it had previously had a disability walk-in shower installed which doesn't suit my needs at all so after a long search this plasterers bath provided an excellent substitute for a bath! It's surprisingly spacious (I am 5' 8"). We fill it from the hot tap via a piece of hose or just bowls and it's so sturdy. We store it on top of one of the garden storage containers. Considering the outlay for the replacement of the shower unit for a bath and the ensuing flooring, this was a very cheap alternative and I can imaging it works very well for its intended purpose.
