I like mahogany bodied super strats (RG's actually). I like to use a SD 59 (SH-1n), APH-1 or a Bill Lawrence (XL500?) in the neck and a JB (TB-4) and the neck pups are pretty warm sounding, a little volume knob reduction and it gets dark. I know this kit is values often used on single coils but when in parallel switch positions or for those neck pups, it's perfect. I could use the other kit (with values that are mostly used on humbuckers), which I have but these are good for that application. I have a few strats too but I like the "Greasebucket" system on those. On a 1986 Foundation (Peavey USA) I used the 1k as the factory did without the resistor. Easy to install. Will buy again.

This is a great little treble bleed kit. These quality capacitors and resistors are super easy to install with a little knowledge of guitar wiring and soldering. I love the little shimmer they produce when you back off the volume a touch when playing through my older tube amp. As they come in a 4-pack, I had more than enough to take care of my 2 Telecasters and still have extras to try some different treble bleed configurations in the future.A small instruction sheet is included to show 3 of the more standard ways to set these up on your ax of choice. I prefer using the cap and running the resistor in parallel, but you can jump online and definitely find sound clips to help you decide which route to take.All in all, if I ever need anymore for future guitar purchases, I will most likely be finding these in my purchase history to buy them again.

Treble bleed circuit on a Dean Guitar

Iʻve installed this on one of my Teles and it has the nice top end on low volumes as it does when the volume is all the way on. Works as it supposed to and it doesnʻt sound harsh. It also made my guitar produce more volume than it did previously. Iʻm going to install them on my other guitars.

You make wiring the control panel for Telecasters very easy with good quality parts all the right values. Couldn't be any easier. Saves a lot of time as well.

Use this on all my Strats and Teles. To e is consistent when the volume is turned down
