Worth every penny!
Got it when it was on sale for only 12 hours at $849! What a steal! Was sitting on my cart for months trying to figure out how I can hide the 1200 bill from the wife! Lol. But at that savings, I knew she would let me slide! Awesome car! Crazy heavy. But climbs like a goat! Now that I own it and have played with it, i think it's worth the 1200. The engineering that went into this truck is amazing!

Wow this truck is huge!
Fantastic truck right out of the box. Extremely capable and for the price, you would expect it to be. Be ready with two batteries so you don’t get stuck on the trail and have to carry it back. It’s a heavy truck!!

It’s Huge!
This truck is huge! Very capable but the steering servo is underpowered. I installed a cc bec and the servo is ok now. Best out of the box crawler I have owned.

Wow! This thing is AMAZING! I can't wait to build my own backyard obstacle course for this.

Have had it for over a year and have put a lot of money into it lol amazing truck just be ready for the steering to be weak right out of the box but so much you can do to them in terms of upgrades

Good idea, poorly engineered
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted to love the SCX6. On paper, it should’ve been a flagship RC crawler. But in reality, it feels like a rushed design that needs a lot of upgrades just to function as expected. After years on the market, it’s frustrating to see that many of the known issues still haven’t been addressed. What I experienced after just a few runs:• Transmission is extremely loud—a gear-crunching sound that feels abnormal for a rig at this price point.• Differentials need shimming right out of the box, or you risk stripping the gears (expensive mistake).• Driveshafts and axles wobble noticeably.• Front shock tower flexes when turning, which limits steering. It benefits greatly from an aluminum upgrade.• The panhard mount also flexes, which causes body roll during steering, especially on left turns.• Headlights and interior aren’t sealed, so moisture and debris get in easily.• Foam inserts are too soft, and don’t support the tires well—aftermarket inserts are a must.• It rolls over easily, even during light trail runs, due to poor center of gravity.• Reverse is overpowered by default. I had to reprogram it to 50% to avoid harsh jerks while maneuvering—something that shouldn’t be necessary in a RTR (ready-to-run) vehicle.• My unit arrived with a manufacturing date from two years ago, which wasn’t a major issue, but it was surprising for a recent purchase. One thing that really surprised me was the quality of the stock bearings. After just two weeks of use (in clean, fair-weather conditions), I started noticing rust and roughness in several bearings. For a model in this price range, it’s disappointing to see unsealed, low-grade bearings used throughout. Most premium rigs in this category come standard with sealed bearings to protect against moisture and grit. It’s a basic expectation that simply wasn’t met here.On the bright side:• The stock servo works fine so far, which I know isn’t the case for everyone.• Body design (Honcho version) looks fantastic and has great visual presence.• Lights are bright, love them!• Shocks perform well, no complaints there. After spending over $1,000 in upgrades just to bring it up to the standard I expected from a premium model, I can say it’s finally capable. But by then, you’ll be wondering whether building a custom rig or choosing a different model would have been the better move.

It’s a beast!
Has tons of torque in low gear for crawling and good speed on 2nd speed goes pretty fast on 4s. Could use a stronger steering servo tho when using it on carpet not moving the wheels can’t steer sometimes

If you can you got to try it
Unlike any thing else
