Is the polyethylene in the tampon itself or the string? is this polyethylene glycol?

The polyethylene is in the security veil which is a thin wrap that helps with comfort of insertion and removal. There is no PEG. Hope this helps!

Why so much plastic? Why won't you make these with a cardboard applicator and paper wrapper?

Hi there, we share your passion for the environment and continually strive to make eco-friendly improvements wherever possible. Our boxes and tampon wrappers are fully recyclable. We considered cardboard applicators but unfortunately they are never as comfortable to insert as plastic. Hope this helps!
