Purchased a year ago and just now getting around to reviewing. Very pleased with the battery since. The PS5 controller I installed it in lasts what seems an eternity. Easily 3x-4x the battery life compared to OEM battery.Plug and play and easy install. Do yourself a favor and watch a YouTube PS5 controller disassembley YT video before attempting disassembley.

Like most people my controller from when i bought my system in 2021 lasts maybe 3 hours maximum before its low, this battery is about twice the listed capicity so i am hoping for 6 hours or more.Maybe one day i will be able to play long enough in one go to compare and post here

I was playing Jedi Survivor and swapping controllers daily, maybe after 2-3 hours per charge. Bought this out of frustration - installed it easily, and lasted six days without recharging (I'm guessing at least 15 hours).My worry was the install but there are plenty of videos on how to do it. I can now confirm it's actually a lot easier to take apart and reassemble a PS5 controller over the 4 or 3. No more spring clips on the shoulder buttons.Plugging it in was a little tricky, as the wire plug didn't want to plug in all the way. Sure enough, upon reassembly it was not plugged in. I was able to quickly take apart the controller again, fit it snugly in, and reassemble quickly.I'm buying 3 more of these!You'll need a good set of tiny screwdrivers for this, I used a 1mm flathead to take off the casing and a 1.5mm philips for the screws. It's intimidating but very easy in the end. Don't worry about the shoulder button removal, they click back into place easy.

The batteries last 3 to 4 days, without having to be charged.

My only complaint with this battery is that unlike the standard battery in the Dualsense, it does not fit snuggly in the available space for the battery due to the wiring that sticks out of the battery. However, I was able to reassemble the controller despite this issue, and the battery has not slipped out, disconnected, or shown any signs of damaging the controller or the battery.This battery, as advertised, definitely lasts longer than the standard Dualsense controller battery. I played different games like Subnautica, Resident Evil 4 REmake, and Spider-Man Remastered and the battery would drain from 100% charge to anywhere between 70% and 60% charge after play sessions lasting around 8 hours.The battery also does not seem to be negatively affected by being charged from a charging dock, whether it be Sony's official Dualsense charging dock or a 3rd party charging dock. It still charges fine without any signs of overheating or battery degradation.

My oldest working Dual Sense was running out of battery far too quickly so I bought this instead of buying a new controller. I can't say the battery exceeds the stock battery by any significant margin because I don't have any new controllers to test against, but the battery works and performs well. Installation is easy if you have a spudger to pry open the controller. It is fairly simple to swap out the battery and there are youtube videos covering every step.

Easier than expected to install - amazing battery life. After not being able to use the controller for more than 15 mins w/o it needing to be recharged, I can play on it for over an hour and when plugging it in to charge it still says it’s on full charge. I thought for sure I’d need to shell out for a brand new controller but this such an easy and long term fix!

Simple 5minute diy project. My controllers were at best getting me 3-4 hours at a time if that. Only had these for a few days but it feels like I'm getting well over 15 hours charge at a time. Way more cost effective than dropping another 70 per controller. Thanks guys. Great product
