First impressions of the item was a good solid case which felt good in the hand and made a reassuring snap when closing. The buds themselves look neat and fit snuggly in my ear and the sound was crisper and deeper than I had known with my previous buds and cabled headphones. The buttons were very responsive in turning the ANC off or pausing music to speak to someone and turning back on in an instant. Battery life was also impressive after use all day in the way to the office, in the office itself for most of the day and back on the train, there was plenty of charge for another few hours of use. I wanted to try the ANC and had ample opportunity while in the office, mowing the lawn, on the train and on a plane, in each the background noise was not eliminated but blocked to such an extent that it became irrelevant. The sound was also on a better than I had been used to allowing a sharper, deeper sound and more levels to music that were never clear before. The app has multiple useful features from changing the sound equaliser to setting different functions for the bud buttons. Very clear and easy to use. The Bluetooth connection has been fantastic allowing me to leave my phone in one room in the house while running upstairs and not dropping at all which was a problem with buds I had before, even going out to the garden had no drop in quality. I have only made a couple of calls and indoors the sound was clear for me and the caller but outdoors it wasn’t so clear for the person I was speaking to but this may have been due to wind noise.. Overall, I am very happy with the buds and would recommend to others.

The first thing I noticed about these headphones was that Jabra have changed the shape of their headphones from being circular to triangular. The headphones were also lighter than their previous equivalent, the 75t. The set up was straight forward via the Jabra Sound+ app. The app allows you to tailor the equalizer your preference. The headphones come with 3 different sized earbuds and the largest one was the snuggest for my ears and fitted perfectly. Due to the smaller size, they go deeper into your ears than the 75t or 85t and are definitely more comfortable. To change volume, you just hard press the right earbud for volume up and left for volume down. To listen to music, you can tailor the music equalizer. The default option is bass heavy but can be tweaked or adjusted to one of the default settings. For office use, the call receiving options are straight forward and easy to use both by touching the earbud. The call quality is incredibly clear. The only let down I noticed is that the ‘hearthrough’ has been compromised. I kept getting a background hiss which was annoying but was easy to get used to. These headphones come to their own when outdoors. The noise cancelling is excellent and even in ‘off’ mode there is little background noise. Having had these for a week now I have tested them extensively whilst running and have to say they are the best running headphones I have ever had. There is no sense of feeling the headphones will fall out and there was no sweat leakage in to the speakers. Even playing tennis they were comfortable and stayed in. Overall, Jabra have a very good set of in-ear headphones and would recommend, especially for sport and definitely at their new lower price. For office use though, I will be sticking to my Jabra 85t headphones

As soon as you open these earbuds they look and feel solid and of high build quality, they immediately paired to both my Windows 11 laptop and Samsung phone with auto pop ups on both devices making the pairing process seamless. Battery seems to be lasting a decent amount of time and for Teams calls they work well and are comfortable to wear all day.For the quality and features available (Noise cancelling and hear through as well as voice assistants etc.) I think the price is also very competitive compared to others. Well done Jabra - good work.

Oh my goodness where to start! I've had my trusty wired in ear headphones for around ten years and I thought they were good. And then I tried the Jabra Elite 5... When I opened the packaging and connected to my phone, I found that the ear buds were 80% charged so I could start using them immediately. Not being familiar with wireless headphones it look a few attempts to get them in the right position but once I did I was blown away! The sound quality was amazing without touching any of the controls via the app (hadn't even downloaded it yet). I purposely chose music which I knew had a high production quality and I could hear every part of the song, sounds that I didn't know existed from using my other headphones. The app which goes alongside the ear buds is a good addition; you can really personalise your listening experience rather than how the manufacturer thinks you should. The ability to turn off the noise cancelling feature is very useful, as there are times when being able to hear the outside world whilst listening to music is a must. I tried the ear buds at the highest volume (for a very short time)and there was no distortion at all. The standard settings of the buds is quite bassy which means you are all set up for dance/rock music but maybe not so good for calls. But as this is easily changed, it's not much of a problem. The build quality of both the ear buds and the charging case is very high and all parts of the kit feel quite sturdy. As of now I have only had the Jabra Elite for a couple of weeks so I can't comment on their endurance, but based on my experience so far, I don't believe I will encounter any problems. I am more than happy with my purchase and would highly recommend the Jabra Elite 5!
