Buy This Rack
I looked at other major brands (Thule, Yakima). Unlike the others, this one securely holds both wheels with an over the tire lever instead of a ratchet strap. The lock and tether are included. While it is mostly plastic, it's durable and well made...not sure what other material would work better. The installation is simple as is loading the bike. I have a 2 inch square cross bar that required the purchase of longer bolts that are also sold on Amazon. Both front and rear clamps are adjustable unlike the Yakima which has a fixed front piece of molded plastic (very large, but not big enough for the 2 inch square crossbar bar). I highly recommend this rack as it deserves more love than the ratings indicate.

Best roof bike rack ever!
These are in high demand and for good reason. This is one of the best roof bike racks I've ever owned. They are packaged extremely well with double boxing. Everything is securely packed in the box. The installation of the rack on the roof was very easy. The only issue I had was that I had to buy a pack of longer mounting screws as the crossbars on my BMW 3 series are a little thick. The longer screws are available via the web. These racks hold the bike firmly in place while driving. No wiggling, no shaking. The locking mechanism and bike lock are ingenious. I bought two. I had to wait a little for the racks to be in stock but it was worth it.

Great product.
It showed up damaged, but I needed it for a trip so I had no choice but to use it. There is no place to contact the seller directly to ask what they can do about it so I have to share on a public forum. Other than that, it is a great bike rack. Easy to install and bike feels secure. Awesome.

It's no easy to get a bike on top of a car (even a sedan)
This bike carrier was easy to install. That was not a problem. Here's what I didn't think of: I am a 5 foot 2 inch woman so I carried my mountain bike up a step ladder to get it into the bike carrier. I go to the gym. I'm not a body builder but I am strong enough to lift 25 plus pounds over my head. I'm so surprised at how hard it was to carry the bike up a step ladder (careful not to fall off ladder) then still have to reach over my head to get the bike on top of my 2021 Camry. Guess what? I didn't fall, but I dropped the bike on my car roof, I gave my car a couple dents from my bike. I got the bike into the carrier & it looked so cool. My husband helped me get it out of the carrier so that I wouldn't drop it again. I'm so sorry to have to return this because my bike looked awesome on top of my car. I will look into installing a hitch or just using husband's truck.

I have never owned a bike mount for a roof rack
This is my first time buying or using a bike mount on a roof rack and here are my observations. It is a little tricky to get the rack square or perpendicular with your rack while looking like it is mounted parallel with your vehicle. The mount is not manufactured with an angle to counter the arch of your rack so it looks like your bike sits sideways on the roof. The way the cable lock sits in the mount lock it looks and feels like it can come out easily so a little more thought into how it sits inside would go a long way. This mount should include 3-6 larger rubber pads for the tops and bottoms of the clamps. it fairly easy once you get everything installed the way you want to mount the bike. I would be willing to pay another $40-$50 for the improvements I mentioned. I think the bolts that are used for the clamps should be a tad longer and more robust and easier to adjust. I think the overall quality on first use is decent to good.

Best bike rack ever!
This is the best bike rack ever! It holds the bike securely and easily. I added a bit of anti seize to the bolts to prevent running into any issues. I also only install this rack when I’m going to transport my bike (every other day). This rack installs literally in minutes! I haven’t had any issues with this rack so far so it’s a definite win for a bike racK!,

I think this was designed with road bike in mind not mnt bikes with 29ers
Not a big fan of this bike rack. I still have a few days left to return it, but not sure I will. Fits road bike just fine, but not a full suspension mnt bike with 29ers. The clamping mechanism would not fit around my rhino cross bars and would barely fit around my OEM Mazda cross bars. Had to order longer bolts from NINO for $20.00 ($10.00 part and $10.00 shipping). With the longer bolts fits the cross bars fine, but annoyed I had to spend the $20 and wait for a part on a new rack. My plan was to have a quick mounting rack and since this rack in mostly plastic i doubt it would hold up well in the hot sunny summers here in the inland empire of So Cal. The cable lock is kind of a joke. To short and take lots of finesse to lock.I gave it a two rating since it will work but so does my $50 Swagman.

Great product with cheap parts.
Here are some helpful things to know… I like this rack for my bike and I think the product is good however some of the parts after one year of use are cracking (plastic). After you leave it on for a while it is super hard to take off. So keep this in mind when purchasing this bike rack.
