its a cast iron tawa works like one
you cannot get proper dosa taste on anything but a cast iron panafter reading some of the 1★ reviews here, i was skeptical. people said it sticks, rusts, too heavy, blah blah. turns out... they just didn’t know how to use cast iron.i seasoned this tawa twice with oil (not rocket science), and by the third time i was cooking, i was getting that golden, lacy, crisp texture. better than my old non-stick ever managed. sure the first two times i had to clean the pan on each dosa cook it was messy and time consumingbut that how cast iron pan worksyes, it's heavy. yes, you need to wipe it with oil and keep it dry. but that’s how real cookware works. if you're expecting teflon convenience, go buy a cheap pan and enjoy your rubber pancakes.this pan rewards care and consistency. it feels like it’ll last decades. if you treat it right, it treats you right

Really bad quality with in 2 months of buying and using hardly a couple of times everything sticks to it and very difficult to cookWaste of money infact they should actually replace the tawa.

Amazing quality but suggesting to go for a smaller size
Good quality product, heavy to handle (weight), you can't spread the dosa batter on entire space as the flame of the Gas stove doesn't reaches entirely. Either to prepare a small size dosa/uttapam. Instead would suggest to buy a smaller size one for better results/usage.

It's very nice but small damage in the tawa
The packaging and quality is good but the price is too high . Good size. The dosa was very crispy . It's pre seasoned very easy to use. Like they've said it is very good good functinality

Too heavy, gets very hot and made of iron ( NOT NONSTICK)
1. Too heavy- like really heavy. Feels like 2.5kg to 3kg.2. NOT non-stick but it’s an iron tava, so get rusty after every wash.3. stains are not at all easy to remove, takes ages to scrub and remove it.4. Boundaries and the small handle also get extremely hot to hold. Plus it heavy so you can’t move as well white it’s on the burning stove. Else be ready to get burns.5. Takes almost 45minutes to an hour to cool down after use.Not recommended at the price spend on this.
