Q: Can someone tell me, is the solar panel itself is adjustable? Thanks!

Yes. After you mount the light you can adjust the solar panel up or down for better sun exposure.

Q: is the light off before it detect movement?

There are 3 modes. 1) on dim all night, 2) on dim all night until motion detected, and off until motion detected.

Q: Shock resistant? i want to mount this to the side of an rv. will it last driving down the road if i mount it firmly and not use the mounting clip?

I've installed the clip on my RV and can remove the lights when traveling and no worries about loss. I carry a small ladder so they're a breeze to put up and take down. Be safe out there.

Q: After the sun goes down with no movements, the solar lights go on for 34 seconds then off for 17 seconds. It is on mode # 3. What’s wrong?

Sounds like detective, send back for replacement
