Strudy, easy to assemble and use, high quality!
Wow! A breeze to assemble and to use, and I'm not just blowing hot air. I watered the lawn in the AM for ~ 18minutes, then a few hours later used the aerator tool to poke holes in the lawn--healthy turf and "bald" spots. It only took me 1 hours and fifty minutes to areate a yard (that's ~ 365 sq feet, not a yard as in 3 feet). I used two feet (that's my feet, not 24 inches) so my feet wouldn't get tired. A sturdy tool, comforable to use, and does the job easily.

Good tool, be careful buying
It works as advertised and does well for a manual aerator. But beware of the seller on Amazon. I was under the impression I was buying new, but when it came, it appears to be used. The spikes are suppose to have a polished finish. The spare ones do but the ones on the grate did not and have some slight rust on them. It also came in a box with no packaging/bubble wrap. Just loose parts thrown into a single Walensee box held together by a piece of Amazon Prime tape where if you gave it a good shake, it would have broken the tape and dumped it on the floor. There was also no Walensee product information or manual that comes with their other products (I've bought a couple from other places so I know they are included), luckily its pretty easy to put together. So the product works and is good, but I might advise looking elsewhere for it

Space-saving aerator.
This manual spike aerator is an ideal tool for your lawn. I had to add dirt in some low areas and I read where you should use an aerator before laying dirt to promote good drainage. This tool was perfect for that as I only had about 5 low spots. I had no problem assembling it; and it comes with extra spikes if you need it. No issues with cleaning it, just rinse off. After use I hang it on the wall with the rest of the tools in my garage. Easy enough, doesn't take up space like a lawn mower would. Great value for the money spent and so easy to use. Just step on it and it sinks in the ground, Perfet!

Great for a small backyard
Easy to assemble. Sturdy. I atep on hard areas and just use it by hand to poke as I walk and seed. Exactly what I wanted for a smaller backyard. Hose ot off between uses!

Shoe spikes work better
Sturdy well built tool but you need patience to aerate a large area. My wife bought me spikes that attach to my shoes. They work much better and easier than this tool.

Add some air to that lawn!
Super sturdy. Used to aerate the lawn- gave me some exercise and also easy to use. Stores on a clip in the garage and easy to wipe down the pegs. Great value for the money.

Works Well but could be bigger
Easy to assemble and easy to use. In softer ground you can just poke it down without using your foot. To make it perfect it should be bigger with more spikes. It seems effortless at first; but as many reviews say accurately it is fatiguing and not for big areas. As long as you understand this, it is a good buy.

Works as designed and better than a spring loaded aerator
Works perfectly. Any Manuel aeration is good exercise. I found that rotating the handle area in a circle, greatly reduces the physical exertion needed. I would definitely buy again.
