Great product
This product works great. I have some security cameras that don’t have an outlet near them and this solar panel charges cameras back up to full charge. Just remember that when it gets below zero, it won’t charge cameras.

I’ve had this connected to my SimpliSafe cameras now for almost a year. No issues and I’m not changing batteries anymore.

Great product!
We use this for our simpli safe camera and it works great! Prior to getting this, we had to charge the camera constantly but we haven’t had to at all since installing this with it.

Small but powerful
Update: solar panel now has failed completely. No visible damage to panel or cord. Just stopped charging.I installed this using a gutter mount, chose this for the extra cord length to run under my covered porch. Quick install, plugged it in and could see that it had already started charging my simplisafe outdoor camera. Now I don’t have to worry about going away for longer periods of time and having the battery drain. Keeps the battery at full charge and it blends right in visually on the gutter. Originally ordered the official simplisafe solar panel but returned it due to the cheap mounting bracket imbedded on the unit - no way that mount was going to hold up over time. This is the perfect option

Solar charging a security camera
I like everything about as easy to install, connection cord is long as standard equipment, charge as advertised. I have 5 of these installed back in January all functioning great. My only wish is if we have no sun for 2 or 3 days i2 of the 5 can allow the attached camera to run down. These 2 cameras the solar panel is in shade for half the day so it may not be possible for a panel to perform any better. I am studying where I can re- locate those 2 panels to get a little more sun on those.

Unreliable
I purchased two of these solar panels. One of them worked fine for a couple weeks, and the other worked for a couple months. They do not provide power anymore. Great idea in theory, but not great in practice.

perfect for SimpliSafe outdoor cameras
I used the Velcro command strips so I would not have to drill into my house. They work great, and the solar panels keep my camera fully charged.
