Compact but ….
Nice and compact. Ment for good weather. It’s open on 3 sides. You can lose stuff from it if not careful. Map case inside is GREAT. Like all pockets for everything. Good buy

Great for the price
Love this map holder, it's very cheap and it's amazingly made. The material holds up very well. MY ONLY complaint is the map holder becomes brittle in an artic environment and I'd recommend buying an extra case for it.
