Replaced the coolant in my 8.1L Mercruiser
I had what I would assume to be original coolant in my 2008 496 MAG HO, I figured it was time to change it out so I went with OEM coolant to keep it easy.It took about 4.5 gallons total, didn't take long at all to get my order and everything came as expected.The hardest part of this job is accessing the two drain plugs in the block to drain the coolant. After you've pulled those and flushed out the engine, the process of refilling is easy.No issues at all and the engine runs at the proper temp!
