I have tried so many calming products for my dog, and this is the only one that made a real difference. Yes, it smells weird; kind of like dirt and vitamins - but my dog eats it with no problem. No need to hide it in treats.He is 22 to 25 lbs, and we give him one chew twice a day during fireworks season. He still shakes a little, but it is significantly less. It took him from full panic to just mildly nervous. He is calmer, a bit sleepy, and not panicky like before.I also put a sweater on him and a scarf over his ears, but I really think these chews made the biggest difference. Worth it.

Vet recommended these and they work wonders for our husky!He was an anxious, easily frightened dog, then vestibular “ old dog vertigo” actually made it worse.He would jump at the slightest of noise. So fireworks, storms were a nightmare!These make him calm, but not lethargic. He needs assistance for stability and didn’t want him unable to help - he’s a big boy @90lbs. He’s def a different boy, but he’s happy and more calm, less jumpy so for him these work well. They are pricey, but worth it for our hairy beast!

These seem to work better for my bigger dogs, I have an 80lb lab that’s scared of fireworks and she did much better this year after I gave her these all week. As for my 7lb papillon that’s scared of all the noises that crackle and boom these did not work as good which makes me sad. She still ran and hid all week unfortunately, even with her thunder jacket. I’m hoping once winter hits I can try again with the fire place but my hopes aren’t high. I also had to hide them in my papillons food for her to eat them, by themselves she did not like the smell and would not eat them. However again, my big dogs have had no issues taking them on their own.. take that for what you will lol I have also used these as a bit of a chill pill during the day as my big dogs LOVE to bark at anything and everything and I work from home but also live in a condo and if we do leave for any reason don’t want my neighbors to hate us because I can’t stop them when we’re off running errands. All this to say, the main reason I bought these is because there’s not a lot you can give to a toy breed so I truly wish they worked for her but at least it does something for my bigger dogs and I didn’t waste a bunch of money for nothing!

This works great. I use it for my dogs who hate thunderstorms. Only issue is that I wish Amazon would just slap a label on the pkg and drop it in the mail so that everyone knows what I have ordered. They didn’t put it in a pkg or box to ship. Other than that love this fire my dogs.

It is a semi-soft but mostly crumbly treat that I can tell is supposed to be more soft, but came dried out – and can’t be returned, so I’m out $38. Never again. I have three cats, and I offered it to each of them, and not one would eat it. They all picked it up and dropped it right out of their mouth. So then I tried to disguise it by putting it with a few other Temptations treats, and they each ate the Temptations, but left this one on the floor. It definitely looks much more like a dog treat than a cat treat. But I don’t have dogs, so I can’t speak to whether or not they would like it. If I had bought these treats at somewhere like PetSmart, I would have been able to return them. Lesson learned. I don’t recommend buying this product at all – or at least don’t buy it on Amazon or anywhere else that won’t allow a return.

I have tried this product with two separate rescue dogs and neither would eat it. Not even when mixed in with food or treats they love.I can only give it three stars and put the rest of the blame on my dogs. I really hope a lot of people have more success with it.
