Pin issues
The pins to hold ladder upright so not stay in. One will not even fit and I had to use a bolt instead.

Instructions would've been nice. Mounting screws need to be longer. Nylon lock nuts to avoid ladder assembly loosinging.

Dock surface MUST be flat
VEVOR flip up ladders sound like a great idea. However, what they do not mention is that the surface of your dock MUST be perfectly flat in the area that the ladder will be installed. This flatness is required so that the two side brackets (that the ladder pivots on) stand parallel to each other. If the brackets do not stand parallel to each other then the ladder will not swing correctly. My dock is built from treated lumber and each board has a slight cup or cap to its surface, as such I could not find a location flat enough for the ladder to swing correctly.

I purchased a different ladder and hated it. It too a winch to pull it up and down. This one is so easy. Love it

Not the best
Package which was supposed to be "Used-Like New" arrived in a shoddy box wrapped in tape from USPS indicating it was received in damaged condition. Upon opening parts were missing and the parts that were included were of such poor quality that I went to the hardware store and purchased new bolts and nuts.This item is poorly made and not even close to what I expected. Amazon told me to contact the manufacturer I decided just to make do because I needed the product.

Powder coat damage
We ordered two of these ladders for our dock. One was fine and the other has large discolouration spots. Some of which is hidden by the other pieces when assembled but not totally.
