Great Hake brushes! Mine weren't saturated with glue, so I only needed to swirl them in room temperature water to get ready for watercolor painting. I didn't experience any hair loss and they come to a finely chiseled edge. These brushes hold lots of water and paint and can be used for the fast and loose water color painting style.

Will be using these for many years. I love Hake brushes and these are made very well. There is no shedding and it holds water well.

These Biaelk Flat Goat Hair wooden brushes are really beautiful and easy to use.

Terrible quality. The hairs splayed as soon as I removed the brush from its package. Tried painting with 1 Bialek with varying types and quality of paper and got same result every time. Shapeless brush does not deliver paint smoothly. Blotchy and streaky. Annoying that I now have to drive to take these awful brushes to the pickup site. They are like brushes used by kindergarten kids after months of rough use.

The brushes are very well made, however they are not very absorbent. I use them to wet the paper for watercolor, but it would miss spots and I would have to dip multiple times in the water or use a spray bottle.

The brushes hold shape well and load paint nicely. I haven’t used them long enough to rate the longevity.

I purchased these because I needed some hake brushes. For me the handles were just too long. I did not use them so I don’t know if they shed or not. They appeared to be good quality but just weren’t functional for me. Great value too.
