Le Creuset Evo Shallow Casserole 30 cm- Meringue

Absolument parfait!

Had been lusting after this braiser for years, and finally treated myself. It's very versatile and easy to clean. But if -- like me -- you have an electric stove with the old-fashioned ring heating elements that just won't sit flat no matter how often you replace them, the even heat-distribution of any Le Creuset Dutch oven or braiser is somewhat less effective when using on the stovetop. But someday I'll move, and maybe then I'll get a stove that will do my Le Creuset pieces justice. But as they go from stovetop to oven, they're worth their weight in versatility. And speaking of weight and versatility, hauling this 3.5 quart braiser around is also an effective upper-body workout!A note on cleaning: A chef friend of mine wanted to know if I ever used my Le Creuset and All-Clad cookware, because they're so clean and shiny, they look like new. I was surprised that a chef wasn't aware of the wonders of Bar Keepers Friend for safely and effectively keeping your cooking equipment spotless. I always keep their scouring powder and softer liquid option on hand, and Le Creuset recommends using the softer liquid Bar Keepers Friend on their pieces. Just wanted to share that in case others haven't tried it. My chef friend had recently bought new All Clad pieces to replace his old, encrusted Calphalon stainless steel pans because they had so much cooked-on residue, and he was going to toss them out. But after I introduced him to the Bar Keepers Friend cleansers, he sent me pics of his newly-resurrected, spotless and shiny older skillets and sauté pans.

J’utilise presque tous les jours. J’adore cette couleur meringue. Je suis complètement conquise. Facile à entretenir - beaucoup mieux que le revêtement anti adhésif qui se lache après qqs années. Avec Le Creuset j’espère l’avoir pour la vie. Jamais besoin de trop gratter pour enlever les taches. La seule chose que je ne peux pas cuisiner c’est un œuf plat -ça colle trop. Mais les gros repas soit paella pâtes riz steak tout est possible dans le braiser.

Dimensions pour 1famille un peu lourde mais permet une cuisson douce sans brûler.
