Pole broke at a mid joint with lite wind, was insane... Money/ time better spent purchasing a 3' x 10ft solid metal electrical riser (they cost less too, can get them from home Depot/ hardware store)....

The poles are mades of 3 parts that screw together and out of 4 poles I bought 2 have crooked threads making the poles bend. If I could do it over I would just buy 3inch steel tubes and set them in concrete. 2 Stars because they were relatively cheap and seem to do the job.....Update: The poles are rubbish 2 of them have bent at the connections.

These poles don't last long, they break at the joints, don't waste your time and money on such defective products.

After buying the pole itself and finding that it did not come with the mounting plate (which is required to mount the pole to any surface), I ordered the mounting plate which is shown with four bolts to attach it to the surface to which you want to mount the pole. Once the plate arrived, I discovered that it did not come with the four bolts. In my case, I was able to buy mounting bolts at my local Home Depot that actually worked out better, as I could imbed them in the concrete pad I was pouring rather that having to drill into the finished concrete. But still, this whole process felt like I was being nickel-and-dimed.
