Easy Install on a 2007 Mazda 6i - Use Dialectric Grease and New Sparkplugs.
These replaced the OEM coils packs on a 2007 Mazda 6i with almost 200k miles. These should really be installed along with new spark plugs. Installation is very easy - Just be sure to handle the coil packs correctly, use dialectric grease, and DO NOT over-torque the studs. The engine started fine and seems happier now that it has the new coil Packs (and new plugs). No more engine codes for a misfiring cylinder!!

Functional, inexpensive, cheap.
They work. This was for a Mazda 3 2.3 hatch. If they have to be removed once installed, you have to grab the rubber "boot" part of coil as you pull up, or they come apart. You can just re-assemble and they still work, but this shouldn't happen. Still, 4 of these costs maybe half of what one Mazda coil costs, so...
