Better filter. Better design
My home is on well water which has many minerals which will cause deposits and blockages in my washing maching. I use this filter between the wall and the washing machine to elimate these minerals. I had a different filter before, but it was poorly made and leaked the first time I emptied the trap. This filter is a better design and seems sturdier with no leaks after one month. I believe it is a good value.

Works as expected.
Works as expected. Be aware that the mesh filter is very fine and will plug up quickly if you have any sediment at all. I bought this to filter my well water before it goes into my drip irrigation: the filter plugs up so quickly that I have to clean it every 30 minutes else the water pressure drops and the watering stops. The product works as advertised, I should have ordered one where the filter wasn't so fine.

It leaked at first, stopped later
Update: the small drip stopped after roughly a week. Bringing this to 4 stars now. I do like the clear bowl allowing a visual. This is a good item.This item leaks around the threads of the bowl no matter what. I put at least 20 wraps of plumbers tape and there’s still a slow drip. The water line is under 30-35 psi, well within the 150 psi range of this filter. The leak is about 2 oz in 10 mins of operation. I’m going to keep it and replace it after this grow is over. It’s manageable but I’d rather it not drip

Perfect for HVAC Drain Line Filtering
The 1/2" Female NPT In-Line Strainer is exactly what I needed to add a filter to my HVAC drain line. It’s well-made, easy to install, and does a great job of catching debris before it can clog the line. Since using it, I’ve had fewer issues with blockages and water drainage. The build quality is solid, and it fits perfectly with my existing setup. If you're looking to prevent debris from interfering with your HVAC system, this is a great option! Highly recommend.

Not installed but it will work
Looks like it will work perfect. Haven’t installed it. Having a clear filter housing will help me monitor trash in spray system.

Works great but….
Works great, amazing what the mesh filter catches. Only issue is that it leaks unless you really tighten. I see that folks add teflon tape but if your cleaning it weekly that could be a PIA.
