The best Superman collection in the last decade
This is a collection of Superman shorter comics (6-10 pages about) that are done in different styles but usually focusing in blue and red inks (there are some other colors of course). Some comics are golden age style, some are very unique. There is a Jonathan Kent comic that I think every new father should read. You like dogs? There's a Krypto comics that warms my heart. There's even a good Lex Luthor story, etc. Most of the stories are Superman but the additions are so well made they stand out. You're going to like this collection, and if you don't it makes a great gift for new and old comic readers.

An excellent Superman story
Up there with my favorite Superman stories, like All-Star Superman, For All Seasons, and Red Son. The issue focusing on Clark's father was particularly touching.

Heartwarming
The art is amazing and some stories are amazing too. The reason I don't give it five stars is cause some stories are either too short or somewhat predictable. Overall this comic is a celebration of what Superman truly is. I recommend it.

THE MAN OF STEEL FOR A BETTER TOMORROW
The Comic has so many stories that represents a aspect of Superman. The story of a boy mourning his mother and Superman empathizes with him and makes a promise’s to help other’s who go through those similar problems and this represents his empathy and humanity.Them there’s the boy who saved Superman a boy helps Superman at his most powerless and in the process he losses his arm but still keep going up the build to get Superman to the top of the building , years later Clark meets the boy again as a adult working at the daily planet as journalist and Clark is proud to see for he has become a good man and a reporter representing his inspiring. Then there’s the talkshow host telling his life’s story as Superman saved his life so many times as many generations of fans can relate too and when danger comes to the show he helps to save others and stand up to villainy as this represents Superman’s timeless nature that anyone can enjoy.

Superman was always my hero
I liked the different visions of Superman. From the child to the man and how his father always supported him. It reminds me how my father was so proud of me when I graduate from college. And how proud he was when I went into the military. The surprise look in his eyes when he first hear me swear. I always look up to my father, as my sons look up to me. I always wanted super powers, and when I look into my sons eyes, I know I have superpowers in the pride my sons and how they offer advice to their children. I am a version of superman today, and in thevfuture. Superman was my hero and still is my hero.

Superman shows his true colors
I’m still new to Superman, only really having read my first story in the first few issues of the new “Brave and the Bold” relaunch, so I think some of the deeper cut references throughout these stories may have gone over my head. The simpler ones, about his upbringing, his father, and his humanity, are what really stood out to me.I’m struck by how hopeful Superman stories seem to be. I grew up as a Batman fan, where most, if not every story, is dark and showcases a losing battle against crime and evil, but a fight we humans have to take up regardless. Superman, on the other hand, seems to exist to highlight the best parts of humanity, seen from an outsiders point of view who is always learning to try to fit in. The sense of optimism is something I appreciate now at this point in my life more than I probably ever have before.“Human Colors” by Dan Watters was one of the stories that I enjoyed the most. I can’t even explain it without spoiling it. I just felt it was one of those stories that captured the essence of what makes the medium of comics so fascinating.“For The Man Who Has Nothing” shows a heartbreaking view of a villain and what a small gesture could mean for all of us. One that didn’t seem to have a title, by Daniel Warren Johnson, in honor of his father, explores Superman’s fathers faith, and was a particular favorite of mine. Tom King’s “The Special” might be my favorite story I’ve read of his so far.Overall, this was a bit of a mixed bag, with some stories not really doing anything for me, but the strength of the ones I mentioned make it a memorable volume overall.

Bueno.

Hit or miss chapters
Some of the chapters in this collage are heart piercing and displays the essence of Superman and what he stands for. Others, can be quite dull. All in all, a must have for Superman fans.

Superman Red & Blue
Superman is admired by all the people he has saved in his many years in Metropolis. In this series of short vignettes, we get to see Superman at his most powerful: when he inspires people to be better. This is a very powerful collection, with some special stories, such as when Jonathan Kent visits his priest for advice on raising a child and a troubled teen's amazing reaction to Superman revealing he is Clark Kent. There is also what is presented as a comedic piece about Clark Kent on a deadline where he may miss dinner with Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne, where Bruce explains that Clark is very proud of the work he does as Clark Kent. The artwork and colouring are interesting and are used to good effect. The book may lack the thrills and spills of action and adventure, but it still delivers an outstanding analysis of what makes Superman great.

Lots of variety, great depth of emotion
Although the stories in this book are short, it doesn’t lessen their impact. There are a wide range of stories that delve quite deeply into the interactions that Superman has with the people he affects / or that he is affected by. There are sad stories, emotionally touching stories, and tales with deep messages. I honestly did not expect much when I bought this book. I only bought it because it was on sale, but it has become one of my favorite Superman books of all time! Highly recommended for any Superman fans looking for stories that contain less action and focus more on the humanity of the character.
