Works on CRF50
The media could not be loaded. It works great. Update: after cleaning my old crf50 carb, drilling holes in the air box for more air flow, and taking out the spark arrestor; it runs like a champ!!! Probably got up to 40 mph and that’s with the carburetor that is too small for the motor. Braaaaaaaap! Totally worth it!!!I had to google to figure out how to wire the stator but it was pretty easy. The wire colors matched what was on the Honda.I like the shifting pattern. Down to 1, 2, 3, 4, and back to N again. So you can just go down every time if you want.I can start out in 4th gear (I’m 220lbs) and it pulls me just fine even starting in 4th. I estimate that I top out at 15 to 20 mph but I’m hoping a new carburetor solves the sputtering issue.

Awesome little engine!
Ordered this to put in my nephews pit bike. Took us an hour to swap it over. Dropped the pickle oil and filled with 10w40 castrol, two kicks and its a ripper!Again, drop the shipping oil, fill with good stuff, and change again after the first rip.Truly impressed.

It works
Engine has a ton of blow by, and the gears will shift from 4th to neutral or doesn’t stop can keep shifting in either direction and it will go from 4-3-2-1-N-4-3-2-1 or N-1-2-3-4-N-1-2-3-4

Great engine for the money
I was alittle skeptical for the price being so cheap but this engine exceeded my expectations! I have had several Honda clone pit bikes and four wheelers and if they a maintained correctly they last a long time. I put this engine in a pitbike frame I had and it ran perfect and had plenty of power for me weighing 170lbs, the shift pattern was my only "dislike" but it didn't affect the performance. If you want these engines to last you must drain the oil that's in them from shipping, its low quality oil, break it in with some name brand 10w40 motorcycle oil then change the oil after the first ride.

Works like a champ
We have a 110 Tao Tao we replaced the motor with this one. Was super simple. This motor does have a different wiring system than ours did so we had to do some extra there. All in all it fired right up and runs awesome.
