Q: Does it need to be attached/screwed to the floor?

I just received mine today and the stinking stand is not flush to the ground, one of the legs sits up off the floor causing the stand to rock. Is this the issue any of you are having. I’m super frustrated. I’m not sure what is causing this (I took it apart and put it back together again just to be sure it wasn’t something I did incorrectly when putting it together, but the result was the same. Is this just a flaw in the product design????

The width of the C stand will need about 3’ x 3.5’.

Q: Can this be spray painted?

Anything and anyone can be spray painted, but it would be well to get her permission before painting one’s little sister/brother/mother-in-law. That pithy advice notwithstanding, sure; the frame is already spray painted (technically powder coated), so properly prepared (sanded and cleaned) it can be repainted the color(s) of your choosing.

The BestMassage Hammock Chair Stand is a good quality, heavy duty product however I doubt you will find anyone that will tell you it is suited to a purpose other than what it was designed for, i.e a hammock chair stand. It is reliable for that and does not tip over easily if you are just sitting in it and perhaps gently swaying. I do not think it is meant to be used for anything where a lot of motion is involved.
