I use CurlSmith hair products and I love them! I have natural curly silver/blonde/gray hair, my natural color. I have tried sooooo many different products for my hair and constantly am disappointed! I took the CurlSmith test to find which of their products would be right for my hair and boy am I glad I did! I love CurlSmith! I use this right before I put the gel on. Then I let my hair air dry for an hour and follow up with a diffuser on medium heat. My hair turns out great!!!

Heat shielding, protein spray for all types of curls. Reduces frizz overall, but I would say that the essential moisture pump conditioner works best of the several products I tried. The shield is used to prep for scrunching but I'm using on already wet hair. It may work better with drier hair. Easy to use spray pump, lightweight bottle. Will continue to use, maybe more as a refresher than initial treatment.

I'm not a fan of strong smells and while I can smell this on my hair for an hour or 2 after applying it, it smells so good that I don't mind. However, I think I'm the only one who can smell it as my fiancé can't so just something to keep in mind.

First of all, it came half opened and spilled all over the box. Used exactly as the direction said. It left my hair feeling sticky and not clean. It felt like I had a really thick film of product. It weighed down my curls/waves. My daughter also used it on her long, loose, wavy hair and she wasn’t able to put a brush through her hair because of the sticky film it left. Waste of money and wasted my and my daughter’s hair wash.

When I originally received this it had burst in shipping so I contacted the seller with a picture and they immediately offered to send out a new one completely free and they where super nice about it. The product itself smells great and I can't feel it in my hair after its dried. I would 100% recommend.

It does not dry the hair or make it feel brittle. My favorite, go-to heat protectant is apart my hair routine.
