Absolutely Perfect
Small enough to fit anywhere perfectly. Small but yet powerful enough to charge a joy cons fast instantly. At first I was skeptical of buying it. Thinking it was too fragile. But no this baby is tough and perfect for what it does. I am glad I invested in one. Although the cord is too small. The value for money spent was ok.

Great charger
This charger works great and makes is possible to charge multiple switch controllers at once! The quality is great and it’s lasted a while and still working great! The cord length is perfect I have no complaints

Still use
This has not failed us yet. Been using for several years and no issues. Charges controllers effectively and efficiently. Cord length was sufficient to get to console dock to plug in.

licensed by Nintendo
It’s compact, easy to use, and officially licensed by Nintendo, so I know it’s quality. The stand holds the controllers securely and charges them efficiently, making it a great addition to any Switch setup. Highly recommend it for those who need extra charging space!

Charge me up!
This does the job excellently with barely any compromises. No, it does not have a lock-down mechanism to keep the Joycons in place, but this charging stand should be in the same place the entire time anyway since all these things are doing is sitting and charging. It's also lightweight, which is fine for a machine of this type. The ONLY thing that I do not like, is while the end does end with a USB so you can plug it in anywhere, the cord is VERY short at 22 inches aka 1.8 feet or 55.8 cm. So, be careful and place very well where you will put this charging station.Overall, I like this charging station. I see no need to buy or try another one. It charges at good speeds, is lowkey being all black, the LEDs are easy to understand and has not failed me yet.Recommended for Nintendo Switch owners with more than one pair of Joycons.

Good quality
With the Switch 2 coming out soon, this is a great way to charge the Joy-Con. HORI is sorta Nintendo's right-hand man, having the privilege of making the official Pokken controller, etc., so you are getting quality here. The charging cord's length isn't much. That would be the only complaint. Otherwise, it's very high quality. Unlike the PowerA version, this one's charging lights turn off when the controller is finished. PowerA's turn an indefinite green.

Get an adapter, plug into the wall - NOT the dock
I've had this for a few weeks now, and I like it a lot. I have 3-4 pairs of Joy-Cons, so it's nice to be able to keep them all charged together. The build quality is really nice and there's no locking mechanism involved. Joy-Cons slide in and slide off. The red light comes on if they're charging and stays off if they aren't. There is not a wall plug included, but they charge by a non-detatchable USB cord. The cord is short, so it's obviously intended on being plugged into the Switch dock. Here's the kicker: So I've had mine plugged into my Switch's dock until recently. And for awhile, I thought maybe something was wrong with my charger (or at least the charge-indicator lights.) The red lights for each Joy-Con rail would light up, then off, then on, then off - all very intermittently and seemingly arbitrarily. I thought that was weird and shrugged it off, because as far as I could tell, my Joy-Cons have always had ample charge. HOWEVER - on a hunch, I recently bought a USB extension cable and a generic (Amazon branded) charging brick and tried plugging it into the wall instead. And boom, just like that, all Joy-Con charging lights lit up solid red and they stayed red until each individual Joy-Con was fully charged. After a little more testing, I learned that the Switch's dock doesn't seem to deliver reliable power via the front USB ports unless the Switch is inside the dock, AND ON in TV mode. If the Switch is asleep, the Hori charger didn't work properly through the front USB ports.I didn't try testing it with the dock's rear USB port, because that is where my Ethernet adapter is plugged in. Maybe (MAYBE) the rear USB port *does* deliver reliable power during sleep mode? I don't know; I didn't test it, because my rear port is never free.Anyway, consider grabbing a wall outlet brick (the Amazon branded one works fine) and plugging it in that way. All my other controller chargers (Wiimote chargers, Dualshock 4 charger, etc.) get their juice from the wall, so no reason to keep it tethered to the dock just because Hori didn't include a wall adapter.
