OtterBox Galaxy S22 Ultra Commuter Series Case - Black, Slim & Tough, Pocket-Friendly, with Port Protection

I've had mine for a little over a year. The corner where your pen and speaker sits is a little... iffy. It occasionally will just pop my pen out if I drop it on a corner- and it seems to be slowly warping. Otherwise, it's kept my poor phone safe!

Recently had my phone bounce out of my gym shorts while jogging across the street ahead of oncoming traffic. It hit the street and the case split in two. 7 cars ran over my phone, miraculously not hitting it, but both halves of the case were crushed by numerous tires. Once the vehicles past, I retrieved my phone and the case. I doubt the case would've protected the phone if it had been under the tires, but the case itself was bent up/scratched, but not broken, despite being directly run over by at least 12 individual tires at ~30mph.I've had this case for about 2 years now, and it took getting crushed by cars to finally kill it. Just bought a second one. Highly recommended. One caveat I'll point out, is that the inner rubber 'liner' that the hard case snaps around is susceptible to heat, and at some point a portion of the case bowed outward from the phone and stayed that way. Other than that, and the fact that the stupid curved screen makes it nearly impossible to properly fit a case and maintain full screen control or access to side-screen functions, this case is perfect.

Bought some cheap junk on Amazon to replace my Otter box for my phone. The garbage made in another Country we both know where but Amazon won't let us say it in a review... caused all kinds of problems and had to be forceably removed with pliers in less than 4 months. The Otter box fits comfortably on my phone and protects it from impact in case it falls to the ground. The Otter box does NOT come with a cover for the phone and that is a GOOD thing! Turns out the previous garbage was not water proof and I had lots of water stains UNDER the cover making it hard to see and use my phone. I could not clean under the cover. The otter box has no cover. Add your own cover film but it's not necessary. Now I can clean my phone with just a drop of dish washing soap and keep my phone useful a few more years before I trade it in for something else.

great fit , good looks , easy grip

Had this for just over one year, also got one for my son's same phone. Do not recall the cases being like this when it was new, when new, it fit snug, but recently noticed a crack on the upper right corner of the screen on my phone, started examining the case carefully and I see that the fairly flexible rubber part of the case has warped over time around all four corners of the screen and didn't notice it, did not expect the price I I paid for this would do this (see images, blue case), sometime when you pull the phone out from a pocket, the upper left corner of the phone is popped out of the case by about 1/8" above the edge of the case. The part where the crack is, the case is warped enough, where the screen is either leveled against or is 1/32" above the top edge of the case, I can clearly see why it cracked there. My son's case (black, see new uploaded image) looks exactly the same, warped in all the same locations, but luckily the screen has no cracks, yet. My wife has the same phone and bought a cheapie case, but housing is made of stiffer plastic, so it does not warp like this one and her phone has no cracks even after numerous drops. Same with my older Samsung phone, used with a different brand case, had no issues and not a single crack on the screen after years of usage. Going to find new cases right away, do not trust this one anymore, did not do what it was supposed to do, flaw in design, will cost too much to replace with a genuine Samsung screen and this was one of the more expensive cases that I looked at in the beginning. BTW, I see I am not the only one experiencing with the warped issue. Regret it so much picking this one.UPDATE: 2024, even though it has been a while after purchasing these, I am still so annoyed every time looking at the crack, so I couldn't help myself but to contact the manufacturer providing details of the issue to get it out of my system, asked them if they are willing to pay to fix my screen, told them that I am not holding my breath on that one though. NO reply from them at all, need even a courtesy reply stating something like we regret to hear, blah blah blah...NOTE: Just uploaded a new image of both the blue and black cases, the warped areas are all the same, looks like twins.UPDATE 12/16/2024: Just got a much better new case by SUPCASE to replace this junk with, which i had the same brand for an older phone, great design, never cracked the screen, case do not warp. New image of this junk going into the garbage, that's where this belongs.
