Privacy Fence Solution
One of my bigger holdups on purchasing a Landroid is the issue of a privacy fence which divides the front and back yard. Having two small dogs with free doggie door access eliminates the option of leaving a gate open. My solution has been the purchase of a second charging station for the front yard. The front yard being a small portion of the 1/2 acre lot allows the robot to cut and edge the whole of the front yard in 12-15 hours. All I do is open the gate, push or lift the Landroid into the front yard and let it cut for a day once every few days. Because the second charger come with its own supply of 470' of boundary wire, the front yard serves as its own zone, so there is no confusion on the robot trying to get back to the charging station; with a second charger the yard essentially has two separate systems which are available for the robot as needed. It is also worth mention that the Landroid boundary wire cannot exceed 1,000'. In my case, the backyard has so many exclusion zones that the full 970' of supplied wire was used. So, it was necessary to have a second charging system anyway, or expend the extra cost in the magnetic avoidance system anyway.

Doesn’t fully charge 6ah batteries.
I bought this as a secondary charging station for my backyard. I wish there was an option to buy JUST the charging base. I didn’t need any additional wire or any additional stakes. I’ve seen a few other owners post about this on various social media platforms as well, so it doesn’t appear that it’s just me.My biggest complaint is that the charging base DOES NOT fully charge the 6ah battery that comes with the WR155. Instead it only charges it to approximately 4ah (about 66% capacity). I have tested and confirmed this multiple times with a battery capacity/discharge machine. I also have contacted worx Landroid support multiple times for this issue with negative results. Each time they tell me “it should charge the 6ah fully”, and that I could send it in for them to take a look at it. They are also at about a 6-8 week turnaround (according to their tech support), so maybe I’ll do this at the end of the summer season to see what they say.It does charge the 4ah battery fully, so it seems like it’s being limited by either a capacitor, or possibly software. If you’re using a larger capacity battery, do yourself a favor and buy a fast wall charger to be able to fully charge your batteries. As inconvenient as it may be, it’s the only option if you want your Landroid to run more than 90 minutes.

Extra charging base
I wanted my front yard and back yard on two separate circuits but use the same mower this was a quick cheap way to do that without buying another mower.
