Cantu Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream with Shea Butter for Natural Hair, 12 fl oz

This curl cream is as good as any I've used, even expensive brands. I use an expensive salon brand for shampoo, conditioner, leave in, and curl gel, but I continue to stick with this brand for curl cream. It works perfectly with my other oriducts on my fine but dense curls. Not greasy but nod drying all all. Nice scent, and a little goes a long way. Helps my curl last all day without frizz.

Cantu products are always a win for me, and this one is no exception! It leaves my hair soft, moisturized, and easy to manage. I love the texture, the smell, and how natural it feels on my hair. It’s perfect for curly or dry hair and really helps keep it healthy and defined. Highly recommended!

After trying this curl revitalizer cream I had to review it. I can’t believe the price of this product! It has transformed my hair after one use. My hair is very healthy. I stopped coloring it over 2 years ago. I have used all the products and I mean all. This product defines my curls and creates clumps better than anything I’ve used. The photos show the definition and clump. My hair in the photos is how it looked when I woke up. I put my hair up in a pineapple and used a satin bonnet when I slept. I woke up and spritzed it with water. That’s it. I use a co-wash to allow me to go longer without shampooing my hair. In the photos I did a co-wash 2 days prior. I had not shampooed my hair in over a week. If you’re on the fence about this product then take the leap. It’s amazing!!!! It’s smells amazing, gives hair unbelievable definition, makes your hair soft not crunchy, softens and moisturizes your hair, and will keep its hold!! Unbelievable!

I purchased this Cantu curl activator cream for my teenage son who has 2a curls, and it’s been a solid choice for his hair care routine. As any parent of a teenager knows, getting them to commit to an elaborate hair routine is nearly impossible, so I needed something simple but effective. This product fits the bill perfectly - just wash, condition, and apply.For my son’s hair type, this cream does exactly what it promises. It provides good moisture without making his hair greasy, helps with curl retention, and defines his natural curl pattern nicely. The smell is pleasant, which is always a bonus when you’re dealing with teenagers who are particular about these things. It eliminates frizz effectively and doesn’t weigh down his 2a curls, which can be a concern with heavier products.However, I learned an important lesson about hair porosity with this product. I also tried it on my other child, and it was a completely different story. Their hair has lower porosity, and the cream left a white film that took forever to work through and absorb. It just sat on top of the hair rather than penetrating and doing its job.This experience really highlighted how crucial it is to consider your hair’s porosity when choosing products. For higher porosity hair like my son’s, this cream absorbs well and provides the moisture and curl definition it promises. But for less porous hair, it can create buildup and that frustrating white residue.The product itself is good quality - it works well on various curl types from what I’ve seen, particularly thicker 3b/3c textures, and the 12 fl oz size gives you plenty to work with. Just make sure to consider your hair’s porosity before purchasing. I was looking for a replacement for my discontinued brand, and happily stumbled upon this brand. Love the smell and the curl control.

I have had better results with this curl cream than with any other curl cream I've ever used before, regardless of the price point. I have experienced bouncier curls that hold for several days while still feeling lightweight and keeping my hair soft. I will say you want to take your time to make sure you spread the product evenly to get the best results.

Works well, keep curls look good for at least 2 days and 3rd day you can refresh them. Just smells TOO strong! and I usually don't use the product as much as influencers uses in their videos! :D but family around me say the smell is too much and too sweet too.
