The only supremacist "religion"
This book is a first-rate introduction to Islam where the rubber hits the road -- real life. The bottom line is that Islam, unlike the other great religions of the world, is also a 1,400-year-old political ideology governing every aspect of a person's life. But Islam is unique amongst the major religions for another reason.Judaism and the Dharmic religions of Hinduism and Buddhism are not doctrinally universalistic, meaning that one does not need to be an adherent to go to Heaven or to be saved. Thus, for example, Judaism teaches that the righteous of all nations have a place in the world-to-come. Christianity, in contrast, is universalistic, in that by-and-large most Christian sects believe that being a believer is a precondition to going to Heaven and attaining personal salvation. Islam is likewise universalistic, BUT IT IS ALSO SUPREMACIST, in that Islam holds that the whole world must eventually "submit" ("Islam" means submit, by the way) to it, either by non-violent conversion efforts ("Da'wa") or else by war in the name of Allah ("Jihad"). Hence, of all the world religions, only Islam is supremacist! For example, a Jewish Orthodox rabbi couldn't care less if a gentile is enjoying a ham sandwich in his presence in a public place, as the Jewish dietary laws only apply to Jews. An observant Muslim, however, considers pork as "nejis", physically and spiritually unclean/filthy, and would prefer that no-one consume it in his presence. Jewish law for many centuries specifically holds that "The law of the land is the law"; in other words, Jewish civil and penal law is generally trumped by the law of the polity where Jews reside. In contrast, the Sharia holds that Islamic law and Sharia norms are ideal and should -- preferably -- be the supreme law of the land.Once one understands this, this brilliant little book gives one tremendous insight into world geopolitics (e.g., why is it that 90%+ of transnational and intra-state terrorism throughout the world is carried out by Muslims?) as well as Islamism in America:Islam's religion always has a political component that must beaccomodated. As a contrasting example, there are as many Buddhists whohave come to America just as Muslims have. Can you name a singlepolitical demand that Buddhists have made in the schools or any otherarea? Do you know of a case where Buddhists have made demands forcoming into schools, businesses, law enforcement or hospitals andmaking demands that we learn about Buddhism and accommodateBuddhist practices? No, because Buddhism is a religion, not apolitical/religious ideology.--Bill Warner, Sharia Law for Non-Muslims, p. 44

An excellent introduction to a subject more people take about than understand
This short (45 page) book is an easy read and an excellent introduction to Shari'a Law. Many people talk about Shari'a, but few have any knowledge of what it calls for, as witness the cognitively-challenged folks who say it is compatible with the US Constitution. Of course, Shari'a varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, a leading cause of early death among Muslims who can't agree. But it is drawn from the Qur'an and Hadiths. Everywhere there are groups seeking, often by violent means, to implement more strict versions. Fully implemented, it includes executing gays and Muslims who leave Islam, stoning women accused of adultery, wife beating, polygamy, child marriage and slavery following Mohammad's "perfect example," and women or infidels as second class citizens without the rights of male Muslims. his is a quick way to familiarize you with what the main schools of Islamic teaching call for in society. Shari'a is a theocratic system of government--Islam recognizes and tolerates no "separation of mosque and state." Worth reading.Robert A. HallAuthor: The Coming Collapse of the American Republic

Very Informative
Was looking at other books and there were a couple people who referenced this one. It is a quick, easy read and you don't need to be a scholar to following along and it is written for someone who knows nothing about this subject. I agree with many of the other reviewers, this is a must read for anyone trying to figure out this refugee/migrant problem we are dealing with right now. This book lays out clearly how they see unbelievers through their eyes. Very compelling and quite scary!

the content of Bill Warner's Sharia Law for Non-Muslims is excellent. Moreover
Although it could use some slight editorial tweaks, the content of Bill Warner's Sharia Law for Non-Muslims is excellent. Moreover, because the majority of Islamic sacred texts--the Qur'an, the Hadith and the Sira--actually deal with non-Muslims, it is absolutely vital that anyone who values freedom of speech, freedom of belief, and freedom of self-determination, among other things, should familiarize themselves with Sharia law and the various ways that it is being increasingly implemented in the West.Indeed, Sharia Law for Non-Muslims is an excellent primer for people who want to familiarize themselves with Islam and its intended sociopolitical framework for the world, and who have also been wondering what is REALLY going on when we keep being told that Islam is a religion of peace; yet, so much violence is left in its wake in so many places. (If it is a religion of peace, then how can it be so easily twisted with such violent results?) This book will shed light on the reality, and it is backed up with numerous citations; not only from the premier Sharia law manual, Reliance of the Traveller [sic], but also the sacred source texts those laws are derived from, such as the Qur'an, Hadith and Sira.In closing, please do not just accept the claims of pundits, politicians and media outlets. Do your own research and begin by looking into the holy texts of Islam instead of just taking someone else's word for what Islam is. (Muslims and Western Islamic "experts" do not define Islam; the Islamic holy texts define Islam.) Not only is it a fascinating study, but the sacred scriptures of Islam do a great job of speaking for themselves.
