I saw it was an Amazon’s Choice item so did not read the reviews....Big mistake.....When you buy a pad saying « non slip rug pad » you assume it will be. My rug was moving less without the pad. I contemplated returning it but since I decided to put the two recliners on it along with the front legs of the coach, I guess I will keep it. ......what saddens me the most is now I won’t be able to trust the « Amazon’s Choice » mentions.

Shouldn't a rug pad be non slip assuming it goes on hardwood or tile? Expexting some type of rubber or non-slip backing. This adds comfort underfoot but slippery so defeats purpose.

I don’t regret this purchase at all. But, here is my constructive critique:It’s going to do a great job with sound dampening in my apartment, and it adds some comfort. But, I still need the non-slip pad below to add extra softness and non-slip.It was easy to cut to size.

I assumed that felt is wool, but not so in this case it is recycled material???? What kind is not mentioned.So it does not have the give and cushioning that a felt woollen fabric would have. In this case a 1/4” thickness is not enough for comfort. Folding the pad in half worked much better.This product will be better used over a carpet and under a rug as it has a better grip on fabric to hold rug in place and carpet underneath will give greater comfort. Definitely not for hardwood floors!

I am extremely happy with Mohawk's Home Ultra Premium underpad. I'm most impressed by the denseness of the felt. Cutting the material to fit my rug's dimensions wasn't too easy with regular scissors. But, my pair of metal shears did the trick!Thank you for a great product.
