Great hands free pump!!
Needed another set so I didn't have to wash as quickly especially when I need it every 2-3 hours. This pump works pretty well in combination of my Spectra. I love I can get things done and be hands free!

Elvie Stride vs the Spectra S1
After 4 days of testing the spectra..vs the Elvie Stride (my opinion - take it/leave it and be sure to test what is best for you)..I am a business owner and in front of a computer all day..so this is for the modern working EP.1. Output. Down with the Spectra S1 by about 2 ounces compared to Elvie Stride (contrary to what LC told me would happen indicating the only way I will fully empty is with a spectra s1...wrong.. - - remember to always test out what is best for you). Where is there a breast pump testing subscription...lets go Amazon...get this rolling so we can try out breast pumps since there are only about 100 freaking pumps on the market. Goodness.2. The traditional flanges are not for me…the pumping bra (still can’t get the flanges to be secured in the kindred bravely pumping bra3. Tubing sucks on spectra - I could not walk around it gets caught on everything and moves the flange from the nipple. So many times this happened to me but I also need to sit my butt down but who has time to be sitting for 30 straight minutes in the optimal position when having trad'l flanges on...! 4. Cleaning - bulky parts - Elvie has less and stores in the fridge with the fridge hack better in the elvie plus bag it comes with..throw the cups in there...and then throw them in the fridge - nice!5. Discreet - way better with the Elvie cups..these flanges are frankly in the way! I go out for walks with the elvie stride cups, I am on calls, I just look busty.6. Power/comfortable - Elvie cups are better for me, Flanges are so uncomfortable and I have to haul around that huge power machine7. Mobile/hands free - could not type- awkward with spectra - I forget the elvie cups are on when typing/working.8. Sitting position - have to have shoulders back with spectra otherwise milk seems to back up if not leaning forward frequently..9. Sound - Elvie quieter10. Power…I find it to be the same.. the hub on Elvie Stride is powerful..the optimal settings I have had to do is stimulation for 2 minutes..then expression upped from 5-6 on Elvie and now more milk.11. Charges - more charging on stride, less on Spectra12. How often - Yield is far better now and always going 30 minutes, with 2.75 hour frequency and by 3 hr mark pumping for 30 minutes…at 25 min my yield goes down and it took me a week to get it back!! My last pump has been at 8pm and my next pump is at 7am and can maintain at this volume with the first pump in morning being a “Power Pump”—google for the cycle..total with rests is 60 min. Earlier the pump the better..if I could just get up earlier like I use to…if I started my pump session at 530a wow the milk would be higher and still a good yield a few hours later. It is lower the later you go in the AM since prolactin is dropping..now that all makes sense why I had good milk yields when I was up with Fred at 1am and 5am! 13. beau cushions work great with elvie stride - more comfortable, too!

Just buy it.
After using for a few days. I have to say I really like this pump. I have noticed the difference with this. There is a lot more output I have with this pump. I was using a spectra pump prior to this. Easy clean up and Love the hand free of it too. I have a toddler and newborn and this has been a life saver when my toddler is needy. Pricey but buy it. It was way worth it.

Took some getting used to but I love it now!
I bought this pump after being tired of stationary pumping. I was worried that it wouldn’t empty me very well, but it performed just as good as my medela pump - I know because I tried to manual pump after using the Stride a couple of times to check if there was more to give, and there were just drops.I also read some reviews where people couldn’t get all the pumped milk out, so I do have a tip for this below.PROS:- love being mobile, I can get other things done like eating, washing dishes, etc- relatively quiet, like a phone vibration- battery lasts all day for me, I pump 5x 18-20 min a session, then charge at end of day- pretty easy to clean, only 4 parts (I use the nanobebe electric brush and it makes it quick)CONS:- some things are still difficult but not impossible to do, like holding & feeding baby, and bending over can cause potential leakage- placement on breasts takes some getting used to because it’s difficult to see in the little placement hole (I found this much easier with a bra that has a clip to come down so there’s more light coming through the sides over a sport bra)- takes some practice pouring and getting all the milk out- parts need to be completely dry when assembling which can be difficult washing & pumping every 3-4 hours- when pump switches from stimulation mode to expression mode automatically, it goes back to the middle suction setting, even if you’ve turned it up during expression. I believe this can be changed in the app but it’s pretty annoying there’s no manual way to set thisTIPS:- I use the fridge hack and keep the pump parts (assembled but obvs without the motor) in a covered container in the fridge between pumps, then wash my pump at the end of the day. Expressed milk can technically be left out 4 hours, and my 5x pumping at 20 minutes brings me to around 2 hours of the milk being at room temp, so I’m satisfied with that. Not everyone is comfortable doing this (it’s recommended to wash after each use) and I wouldn’t do this if baby were sick and only started doing this after our baby turned 4 months. It does mean that I put on the cups cold, which is not that pleasant, but I prefer it to washing.- To get all the milk out, Elvie has a video taking the pump apart and pouring the remaining milk out that was stuck in the diaphragm. Since I do the fridge hack, I am not taking the pump apart. Instead after doing the initial pour, I make a pumping motion on the diaphragm (basically the same motion the pump makes - see image) to get the milk to come out, then I pour out the rest.
