Love it. The bursting, smell, hardness, you see in the comments, it is all lies.
Pretty, soft, comfortable, finally my wrists don't hurt after hours of gaming. I have had this now nearly a month. I am almost 300 lb.s and I lean heavily on my arms and wrists, there has been zero bubbling or bursting or any sort of disfigurement whatsoever on the wrist rest nor the mouse pad, there was no scent to either rest or pad and both are perfectly soft and cradling for my wrists and frankly I would have paid much more for these elsewhere and would have gotten far less quality. I will certainly be coming back to this brand and buying again when the time is right.

Ahhhh.....much better.... UPDATE **
I had the blue version, of the Fellowes wrist rest and loved it. That one finally gave out after 2 years and several kids bent it too many times, but I'm back to buy the purple one. I did not have an issue with the smell, as it went away after a day or two. For me, it was worth the relief.5/31/2012 I can't believe it, but shortly after one month - just beyond the time I can return it, the gel burst open. I don't recommend this one at all. A previous Fellowes gel rest I had lasted years. They must be made differently now. I should have listened to the warnings of other reviewers!!

Squishy and Purple
It's squishy and purple. And it will last for a couple years of constant use up until the point that it rips and gets sticky and purple, then you buy a replacement. But that's to be expected for these things.

I won't work without it!
I work 9 hour days at a computer, and for years I've used a Fellowes gel rest. It was starting to get pretty beat up. I work at home and my cat stepped on it and poked a hole with her claw which I plugged with tape, and my dog jumped on the desk and poked another resulting in more tape, so it was time to replace. I knew I wanted a gel rest and definitely not one that was cloth covered. I can't stand the feel of the cloth rubbing my skin. I much prefer the smooth surface of the Fellowes rest. It has a sticky feeling bottom. Not adhesive sticky but more like plastic cling sticky. It keeps it from sliding around and if it gets dirty it's easy to clean off. I do wish it wasn't so easy to puncture, but overall I'm a fan.

Sturdy and comfortable
The base is flat and it stays put. The gel is very comfortable.

This wrist rest is great
I had a cloth wrist rest and it worked good but I noticed that dirt would build up on the cloth rest and I could not get it off. So i found on amazon this Fellowes Gel Crystal Keyboard Wrist Rest - Non-Skid - 19.31" x 2.31" x 0.94" - Purple and it is great I can wipe it off when needed, AND MY SKIN DOES NOT STICK TO THE REST AT ALL, AND I MEEN AT ALL. and the color is also very pretty. I also bought the same color in the mouse wrist rest and could not be happer. they both work GREAT way better than cloth AND NO STICKING TO MY SKIN!!

Nice wrist rest - wipes clean
I bought this wrist rest, because it didn't have any kind of fabric covering. I hate seeing dusty or dry skin marks on them as they age. This easily wipes off and is nice and squishy. I liked it so much, I bought one to keep in my laptop bag for work!
