Best Aftermarket Headlight Assemblies for the 5thgen Prelude
Before these Spec D-Tuning Black Clear SMD LED Projector Headlight Assemblies came onto the market I would have never considered installing anything but retrofitted OEM's on my 1999 5thgen Honda Prelude!! No cheap ass Halo rings here but instead they hooked up a classy looking LED strip to meet up the grill. The inside of the housing is black instead of chrome with a low beam projector and the high beam is halogen reflector. Good Money!!

Rather inexpensive upgrade that gives the front end a new look
These lights are definitely better than the stock pods. Had to replace the factory ones because they weren't able to be adjusted anymore. The led strip in them are nice touch at night. Probably will be installing a brighter grade bulbs to get lighter further down road. No complaints so far

Not perfect…
For the most part, these are great looking headlights, but they are obviously not perfectI had to cut and splice some cables, as you can see. This may or may not be a special case since I was the 3rd owner for my prelude, not a hard job but keep that in mind. Also, one of the headlight high beam connectors was just not working so I had to use the old connector. No big deal, but definitely not fun. And yes, maybe I could’ve contacted the seller to let them know, see if I could exchange or something, but I realized it didn’t work after I spliced so, I don’t think they would’ve taken them back like that. Also, and this is a big one, you can’t adjust how high or far the headlights shine, and for my case, they don’t light up very far enough, which makes me have to use my high beams when it’s unnecessary. I tried showing it in one of my pictures but it’s hard to see if you’re not there in personAlso, headlights don’t fit flush, maybe it’s just my car or maybe it’s just me, but if you stare at it long enough, it looks a bit offFor these reasons, I give it a 3/5 stars. I hope this helps!

Lights
They look very nice once installed but more info would be nice on how to wire the running lights they did not come with bulbs like it was supposed to so I spent another 100 on bulbs because both the low beams and high require the same bulbs which are the h1s other than that they are nice
