Works perfectly.
It’s sounds awesome. Perfectly fit with the boss duel cube lx. Built quality is good. Easy to install. A good value for money.

Should be built in and the amp £15.00 more expensive to allow for this.
A bit expensive for what it is. This really should be included or should be built in, up the price of the amp £15.00 to allow for this.It works, it's not obtrusive and it's less expensive than it First was, so to me it was still worth getting.I feel the screw that holds it in place could have been a little longer as there's not many threads holding it on...don't over tighten or you may damage the threads.I give it five stars because it works well, it's tidy and because they dropped the price since production.

Works but why is it an optional extra?
Works as it should but seems overpriced to add a feature that you could easily argue should be included as standard.

Good bluetooth receiver
Works well for connecting table or phone (or laptop), makes the unit much more versatile. Good price from Amazon.

massive bluetooth speaker in the house
Yes it's not cheap is it? And i'm not sure if it would be good value if it was used with an effects unit just to change the presets 'wirelessly' rather than having to plug it in to your laptop?however i'm using it on the Boss Katana 110 amp and so it can:1) connect to your phone/tablet to change the stored amp presets via bluetooth midi - but you can still use the laptop to do the same thing so not bothered about that really!2) but i can also connect to a phone/tablet with bluetooth sending music to the amp and still have an instrument plugged in as well for backing track/playing along with! - this is the main event for me as in reality although it's just a bluetooth input, what with phones/tablets losing their 3.5mm headphone output, bluetooth is now the easiest way to accomplish this.Hopefully the Katana guitar amps will get this feature, though you can play guitar, keyboards or whatever though a bass combo as they're built to take a good thumping so a bit of other stuff won't hurt it!Also if you just want a very loud bluetooth speaker it's very loud with the option to jam along with any 'stranglers' tracks doing your best JJ Burnel impression!

Missing Information
I bought the Boss Dual Bluetooth Adapter for use with my recently acquired Katana Gen 3 guitar amp, in order to access and configure the settings easier on my IPhone & IPad (in addition to gaining access to some effects which you can’t select via the controls on the amp itself). The small box containing the BT adapter includes a folded-up sheet printed in multiple languages. The information given is virtually worthless and does not give any instructions as to how to fit the item or how to set it up. It is fairly obvious that you have to remove the single screw on the rear of the amp to fit the adapter after inserting it onto the multi pin socket. What it doesn’t tell you is that because the BT adapter has a Dual function there are 2 No. sets of blue flashing LED’s (one for BT MIDI and one for BT AUDIO), the MIDI one is for the app connection to the amp and the AUDIO one is to stream by Bluetooth audio wirelessly to your amp.At the moment I’ve only set up the slow blue flashing light mode which is the BT MIDI mode, however connection to the amp is NOT possible as a message comes up on the App stating that you need to update the Firmware. I have since looked into this more and (what they don’t tell you) is that you need a PC or a Laptop to initially install Boss Tone Studio on your PC/Laptop to enable you to upgrade the Firmware on your amp before you can use the Bluetooth adapter! This is very bad and this should be clearly highlighted in the product description, I own neither a PC nor a Laptop so at the moment my BT adapter is useless. Unless I can possibly borrow one from a friend I might as well return the BT adapter for a refund.I’m sure it’s a great product (once you can get it installed), I have just been reading though that even with a PC it is not a straightforward install of the Boss Tone Studio and involves the manual movement of files between directories - not very user friendly! I also think it’s very poor of Boss that even on a brand new and recently released amplifier that the Firmware is already out of date.Update: I have found out that in order to install the Boss Tone Studio and Firmware to update the Katana Gen 3 and use the Bluetooth Adapter you need to have at least Windows 10 on your PC or Laptop, it won’t work on older operating systems such as Windows 7.
