Great Data Transfer Cable for Pixel 2 XL via Legacy USB 2.0 & 3.0/3.1 ports!
Anker makes great cables -- period. I bought the 3ft. version for the purpose of transferring and backing up my Pixel 2 XL's data files (photos, videos, downloads, backed up app APKs, etc.) to an external hard drive via my laptop. Data transfer speeds were fast when connected to a USB 3.0 port (now known as USB 3.1 Gen 1, same thing).Did NOT buy this for charging my phone off my laptop, as I have several of the official Google OEM 18W chargers that charge rapidly. But just FYI for others, when this cable and phone are connected to either my laptop's USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports, the Pixel 2 XL only reports "Charging slowly" -- which makes perfect sense because these legacy laptop USB ports follow the old power supply specs, and therefore do NOT supply enough power to the phone to rapidly charge it. It's not the cable's fault at all, it's doing its job.Pros:- Works great on Oreo 8.1 with Pixel 2 XL for data transfer (haven't updated to Pie/9.x just yet due to some reported connectivity bugs). (Note: you do have to select the "data transfer" option from the USB notification dropdown on your Android phone after connecting it.)- Fast data transfer as I believe the Pixel 2 XL supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 (aka USB 3.0) speeds through its USB-C port.- Braided cable -- I greatly prefer this for durability, having many PVC cables from other mfgrs fail or fall apart over the years.- Included/attached velcro strap is a nice touch to keep it wrapped up when not in use.- 18 month warranty (if I recall correctly). Listing it as a "pro" here as other cable brands typically have 12 mos or far shorter warranties. Lifetime warranty would have been much better like Anker offers on their PVC cables, but it seems they only offer 18 mos on their braided USB cables when I purchased this one.- Phenomenal U.S.-based tech support (see my comments below)Cons:- Only one I can think of is that Anker typically doesn't get their USB cables USB-IF certified.Regarding the one negative above, I was looking for a USB-IF certified cable in the hope that it would be manufactured better to protect my expensive phone against shorts and potentially frying its USB-C port. The problem is that even certified cables can have manufacturing defects or cause other problems, so USB-IF certification is definitely not a guarantee. Not finding a certified cable I felt I could trust, I went with this Anker cable nonetheless, and am very GLAD I did! (Yes, I did look through the Benson Leung-approved list of USB-C cables, but many were outdated by now, I didn't recognize many of the unfamiliar brands out of China, etc. In contrast, Anker has a well-known presence and reputation for quality.)Anker has phenomenal phone tech support that was actually answered by knowledgeable people based right here in the U.S. This is indeed a rarity today and therefore should be trumpeted and rewarded!!! I called to ask questions about their certifications and warranties, as well as tech specs and questions on other Anker products I recently purchased. So believe me as a power user when I say their tech support was unexpectedly great! Yes, this is only a cable, but I give extra marks when companies back their products with great tech support and service. Will definitely buy again from Anker when the need arises.

Anker does a great job of only using as much packaging necessary for ...
My wife and I have provided phones and tablets for our three boys, ranging in age from 8 to 21. As you can imagine, this has included many lost and broken usb cables. I learned at some point that getting cables at the grocery checkout wasn't the way to go, and started looking for reasonably priced name brand cables. That's how I found myself a customer of Anker for both cables, but also a few portable chargers, and ultimately became a tester. As always, I'm impressed with the frustration free packaging used by Anker. Anker does a great job of only using as much packaging necessary for safely shipping the product. No tools necessary, and no filling your trash with useless packaging or sharp plastic waste. I mention this in every review, but it is really one of the things that impresses me, and I’m sure helps them keep costs down on their products. As an aside, I wasn’t expecting acase. What a novel idea!! It is a tri-fold case with a velcro loop in the center. It clasps closed via a couple of small magnets. I’ve used it by coiling the cable in the velcro with one end at the edge. I was then able to quickly pull out both ends from opposite sides of the case to make it the length necessary for the moment. While I think the cable is worth the price alone, the case is one of those nice surprises you sometimes find with Anker products. As far as the cable itself goes, I tried it out with a few chargers and devices as well as connecting to my laptop for connectivity. No issues whatsoever with both charging as expected based on the voltage out or with connecting to a computer.Another aspect that sets these apart are the quality and thoughtfulness that went into designing the ends of the cable. Both ends are solid and tapered in a way that they don't catch on things. This is an improvement over even a 5 pack of mixed length Anker cables I purchased a few times. There is also a short, slightly softer sleeve that mitigates kinking at the end. Anyone that's had a cable fail knows that it is most likely to occur right at the end. Both the standard usb and micro end both resist kinking, and should extend the life. The outer shell is a soft, woven kevlar the betrays the strength and durability it provides. On of the images on Amazon claim the the braided kevlar coating can hold over 80kG, or roughly 175 pounds. I really wanted to test this out by using the cable to rappel off my roof, but unfortunately I’m a bit over that weight, and most likely above any in built margin of error. I’ll have to leave that to someone else to test.Seriously, I’ve reviewed a bunch of cables from Anker, and the Powerline+ line is by far the best.Basically, at the end of the day, I'm very happy with the cable. Three feet long is a great length for use in my truck, and as a bonus the color matches :DDisclaimer: I was given this cable free from Anker in return for my fair and unbiased review. Anker has no editorial control over my remarks.

High quality
Wanted a Samsung brand for quality, but couldn't be sure i was getting it. So I ordered this based on reviews. Works excellently. Fits my S24 ultra with a somewhat thick case no problem and holds firmly with no signal interruption, even when moving. Feels stout and durable.

Anker 7ft Powerline+ Cable
Always loved these cables, last one I bought several years ago is still going strong. They have a great fast charging capability and, are super durable and thick! The cable length also seems to be on point. Combined with the Anker Surge protector that has the little USB C and A outlets, this is a great combo!

Great braided cable
Cant go wrong here. Anker makes great products. This cable is no different. Nothing overly fancy, but very tough and gets the job done. I only gave 4 stars because anker makes better quality cables for close to the same price.

Best Cable from the Best Brand
It does exactly what it's intended to do. I bought this to use in my car with Android Auto and it's fantastic. Its just long enough so I can use my phone while I'm parked, but not too long so it feels annoying. The quality is superior to other brands and I know my cable won't accidentally unplug for whatever reason. I absolutely love Anker.

Durable and worth every penny!
Another great cable purchase from Anker! After 2+ years of use, my wife's charging cable finally gave out. Anker cables seem to take abuse better than others I've tried, so here I am as a repeat customer!
