Seagate Game Drive for Xbox 2TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD - USB 3.2 Gen 1, Black with built-in green LED bar , Xbox Certified, 3 year Rescue Services (STKX2000400)

It's a Game Drive that can work on Xbox, PC and PlayStation. I'm currently using for my PS5 that's shown in the picture. The drive itself is very light weight. I would make sure you give it plenty of space by your game console. The cord it comes with is a Micro USB 3.0 and it is a good wire but it is short. Transfer speed is great and it is fast. Downloading the games from the Internet took me the whole day just to put on the drive but I was ok with that because I did have a big list of games that I wanted to put on this drive. Do note that this only works for only Xbox One / PS4 games only, don't expect PS5 or Series X games to go on here. It does feel very reliable, it does heat a bit when downloading or running games but it's not to the level of Overheating. It is very easy to use and the connection is very fast. You are using USB 3.0 with the next gen feature on it to make it run fast. I have not experience any data losses on it so it seems very promising. Overall I would recommend picking this one up and it is very promising. It does come with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for one month so that is a nice bonus. Always make sure to register your product to Seagate to get that warranty if something does go wrong. Anyways that's it, it's a decent Game drive.

Very good option, fast and easy to use

I purchased 3 them from the Amazon refurbished store . One arrived completely sealed and the other two were opened one was complete in box and the third one was missing some stuff and you could tell it was used be I did also know what I was buying and that drive hasn’t given me any issues. If you have done your research you know you can’t play the newer games from the drive it’s sole purpose is to use it as storage drive so if you’re ok with that then this is a perfect solution to a storage issue

Works great for my Xbox one

Likely of my own ignorance, I was under the impression this would allow me to simply add games and play. Otherwise I don't have an issue with it. Transfers at a speed of about 1G/s.

Even as a casual gamer these days, I began to worry about my Xbox One not having enough storage space for the games I play. Now that my kids are old enough to have their own games too, I needed something to help share the load and this external drive fit the bill. Just plug it in, tuck the drive out of the way, and let it format to your device. It was quick, easy, and has held up well so far. It also came with a subscription to Game Pass so any unnecessary worries I had about the price (which was easily affordable) were put to rest.

OK, as far as the drive it’s a hard drive. It operates, but we’ll see how long it lasts. However, one of the bonuses to buying this brand and this model was getting the month free of game pass ultimate. Now if you’re buying this drive, you obviously have a Xbox that you more than likely have played and at this point it has been around for a while so more than likely you have used at some point game past ultimate however it does not come with a month of game pass ultimate!!!!! it comes with a game pass ultimate trial and if you have ever at any point in time on your account used a game pass ultimate trial. The card is useless because you cannot use it if you have ever used the trial. This is completely ridiculous. Why even state that it comes with it. It should’ve come with a game pass ultimate card for one month no strings attached and no bogus garbage like being a trial that can’t be used if you’ve ever used game pass ultimate anytime in your life. Next time I will not purchase a Seagate because here is the thing game pass ultimate one month is roughly 20 bucks so it was a deciding factor and where they’re paying a little bit more and getting this hard drive instead of another brand which would’ve been $30 cheaper. If you ask me, that is a scam you’re promising something that you actually are not getting!!!!

My last storage HDD went broke so had to buy a new one. It does what it suppose to do (just like the last one), store games in it.Only peeve is the you're not able to play some of the newer games from the game drive, only from the console's internal storage drive. The console's internal drive 1TB is small for newer games. Games like Modern Warfare 2&3 takes up the majority of the storage and you have to transfer games to & fro into the designated storage drives. Not sure if it's Microsoft's fault for a small storage or the game developer's fault that the game takes up so much space.
