Waste of money for use in an in-ground pool. Followed instructions explicitly. Did not even stop a small trickle of an above ground return pipe leak.

I have an unidentified leak in my pool. I typically have to refill for 10-15 minutes/day. I had a company come out to quote services and it was $1,200 just to get started and try to find the leak. I figured I'd give this a try before spending any serious money. I used the 2 skimmer split method, after removing my filter cartridges. I turned the pump off, poured half a bottle into each skimmer. 30 minutes later I turned the pump back on for the rest of the day ~6 hours or so. To my surprise the leak has slowed down considerably. Since using this treatment, I'm only filling 10-15 minutes every 2 to 3 days now. That's a big improvement! I got busy and haven't run a 2nd treatment yet, but I'll be doing that soon! For $25 this is a big time money saver over traditional repair methods.

The Lo-Chlor leak sealer order was my attempt to avoid a service call for the stand-alone hot tub at the home I just purchased. I can't speak to how this might work in a pool and have not tried in my pool, but the apparent slow leak on my hot tub was sealed effectively. Have not used this before so I am not sure how long to expect but my near term worry of a leak has been resolved. You will want to use this when you are not in the water and let it filter and work for a while.

Did not work in small hot tub where leak is so slow and small it cannot be seen.

This item is not designed for large leaks or cracks, however will seal small microscopic leaks in vinyl pool. If you have a pool sand filter- make sure to read the directions on how to proper use and which setting so you don't end up with this getting into your sand or media filler.

We have a leak somewhere underneath our hot tub. We followed the instructions on this product but yet did not experience any reduction in the leak or change in the size of the runoff. Bummer as we were hoping this was the miracle fix it was advertised to be. It apparently has worked for others so can only go as high as 3/5 stars.
