I am obsessed with this tooth fairy door kit! The kit comes in a perfect size box that holds: 1 miniature functional door with crown molding, 1 key, 1 door mat, 1 ladder, 2 picket fences, 1 jar of pink glitter ‘fairy dust’ and 1 stencil. For being miniature the door is sturdy/heavier than I expected. A lot of the weight seems to come from the top molding piece, so I could see how anchoring this to a wall with some simple double sided tape would not be effective and quickly yield a door crashing to the floor. The door swings out to the right and is adorned with gold hardware. To my surprise the door knocker is also functional and reveals a little peep hole underneath. I would have liked to see a functional mail slot too so kiddo could drop a little note to the fairy in it or something, but it’d be a cool perk not a necessity. I also wish the border and wording on the ‘Welcome’ door mat was more pronounced as it is barely noticeable in most lights and basically looks like a cut piece of felt. It’s cute nonetheless when paired with the door. The picket fencing had a board that didn’t line up with the rest of them, but was still useable. Anchoring hardware is not included so you must get creative. Again, I wouldn’t recommend just using tape. Because I wasn’t planning on anchoring this to a wall and wasn’t interested in moving it ever, I ended up hot gluing the door frame to the inside backing of my daughter’s night stand (it has been holding up just fine so far, about a month in) and then decorating around it using some sparkly dollar store stickers. The style of the door is versatile so you can make it as sophisticated (or not) as you want. I hid the door until her tooth popped out and then we just so happened to stumble upon the magically appearing tooth fairy door together. She was over the moon excited, and her reaction alone was well worth the $16, which is the cheapest I could find this kit for. I planned to plant the fairy dust foot prints when I collected the tooth at night but honestly, without putting glue down, dusting it with the glitter and then blowing the loose bits away, I just don’t see how it could not turn into blobs of sparkly messes. Maybe I’m wrong. I didn’t try it to find out. Cute idea though. I have never been more excited for the tooth fairy myself. Definitely worth the $15/16 price tag. Thank you so much !!

It's adorable and met all my expectations! You have to glue on the door handle and mail slot but I just used some super glue and it worked perfect! Thank goodness I have a grandchild so I had an excuse to buy it!!

It’s mostly fine! Ladder arrived broken but otherwise a cute little set. Door is also loose on hinges but…fine!

Such a cute set, with some minor flaws in construction.I don't understand why the pictures show the door much larger in comparison to an actual door. Yes, I'm aware of measurements, but pictures help determine visual size and these are definitely misleading. Enlarging the product by at least twice or three times the size. Meh!
