Everyday Mathematics Intervention Activities, Grade 5 (Eia)

I teach in a Chicago Public School so even though most of my students are desperately behind, we don't have proper RTI/MTSS resources. This little gem is truly wonderful for identifying areas of weakness and for helping students gain a deep understanding of fifth grade math concepts. I love how quick and convenient it is--the lessons are fast and simple. Even more importantly--the kids love it. There was a lot of whining about the pre-assessment (24 pages...) but they love working in small groups and they find most of it pretty easy so it really builds their confidence. Math is fun! Math is easy!
