My experience
Excellent bagpack and easy to carry and very durable. Lots of space and easy to carry around (even when fully packed)

Tough with lots of room
This rucksack is superb, high quality, extremely well designed and manufactured. So first of all space: there is tons of space for everything, with a large inner pocket inside the main body, highly expandable center and side pockets as well as two little ones on the main waist strap. There's also large pocket both at the top and bottom. As well as finally a very generous mesh pocket on either side too.Fixings: There are compression straps at the top, bottom and on both sides as well as many hoops for attaching loose items and also draw tight loops for attaching other items.Comfort: apart from weight of camping gear, this rucksack is extremely comfortable with great cushioning on the back and more importantly on the shoulders and waist strap. Unlike many others, the height adjustment works really well so you can choose where to bear most of the weight without the bother of the pack slouching to either side which so often happens with some large rucksacks.Durability: because of the great quality of the stitching and materials, this rucksack has so far proven to hold together remarkably well given the fact that I use it to its absolute limit. It's not waterproof (it will be waterproof resistant to an extent) so I would recommend buying a 90L waterproof cover ideally with cross straps. This not only protects from the elements but also gives a little extra room for some items of damp clothing.

Functional and good value for money, but not at all waterproof and can be uncomfortable
I used this for my DofE Gold Expedition Practice (camping and hiking for 5 days). The many pockets and straps make it very functional and it is the best I could find in the price range. It has a lot of space for clothes and food for up to a week (maximum) and any tent or cooking parts you need if you are dividing it between others. However if you are expecting rain, you need BOTH an INTERNAL and EXTERNAL cover as all your stuff will get completely soaked. I only had external and all of my clothes and sleeping bag got wet that I was so wet and cold that I spent one night in the toilet block rather than my tent. Also, you NEED to learn how to pack and wear a backpack properly. You need to pack the heavy things low down near your back, your snacks at the top, etc. Also you need to adjust the straps properly. On the first day my lower strap that goes over your waist was too loose and all the weight was on my shoulders. This made it extremely heavy and painful. Overall, great backpack, but come prepared.

Strong backpack
Great value, the back pack has loads of space and little extra pockets. It’s very well made and feels much more expensive than it costs. Great value for money.

Ideal for teenagers
I bought this for my grandson & he loved it. Very spacious in the main compartment. Several smaller pockets ideal for note books etc.

Waist buckle is fragile
The bag is large enough to carry everything you need for a day out hiking, but the waist buckle is a bit fragile. It snapped when I tried to tighten it, which means it’s now useless and flops around. There’s also a separate section for storing a water pouch, but it’s positioned at the bottom of the bag, meaning you might struggle to run the drinking tube far enough to reach it comfortably.
