**My Go-To Product for Stopping Fraying!**
Dritz Fray Check is an absolute lifesaver for my cross-stitch projects! It’s hands down my favorite product to stop fraying on Aida fabric. The clear, liquid seam sealant works like magic, keeping the edges of my fabric neat and secure while also ensuring that thread ends stay in place. What’s even better is that it’s both washable and dry cleanable, so I never have to worry about it coming off after laundering. The professional finish it gives my projects is incredible—no more frayed edges ruining the look of my hard work!I also love that this package comes with two bottles of 0.75 fl oz. each. It’s such a great value to have multiples on hand, especially when I’m working on multiple projects at once. I highly recommend Dritz Fray Check to anyone who sews, quilts, or crafts. It’s a must-have in my toolkit!

Handy helper for craft and sewing!
Works great to prevent fraying and can be used in multiple applications. So far I have used Fray Check on:• Serger Seams• Twill Tape Ends• Finishing a Machine StitchResults have all been fantastic!Looking forward to the many possibilities.A few tips to read *before opening:• Only open one tube at a time, this will ensure you have this around for a while. Especially helpful for seldom crafters, who may only use Fray Check a few times a month, or even year. That is unless you are using Fray Check in multiple projects, some requiring a more precise application and others needing a larger portion at once. In which case...• For those crafting weekly, or full time, you may want to open one tube with a pin, creating a pinhole sized opening for precision and the other tube cutting the seal with scissors. Do so by first holding up to a light to see where the solid plastics opens up to the bottle. Determine how wide you’d like the opening to be, *then cut.A favorite old saying comes to mind; “measure twice, cut once”• Test! Test! Test! For each new way you are using Fray Check, set up a replication of your project as a small sample and test, start to finish. Example; if you plan to use this in something stretchy, or are going to machine wash the finished product, go through each step with like materials and be sure this will work for the intended use and with the results you’d expect.I will come back to update occasionally as I find new uses. Hope this helps!

Does the Job, But It's Smelly
I got this after I tried the Aleene's Stop Fraying, which I found too gloopy and hard to apply to the edges of my monk's cloth. The Dritz is much easier to use. It offers a more liquid application that allows for faster drying and more accurate application. The only downside is the amonia-like smell. It's not overpowering, but it is noticeable. Once the liquid has dried on the fabric, the smell goes away.

Great for fraying fabric.
Great bottles to use when sewing. They keep fabric from unraveling. I use this item after I serge seams together. A bottle last a long time. I'm happy with the product.

Great for knots and seams.
I sew and make stuff that uses knots. I use this product to finish off my seams. I dab it on the fabric and then iron it to solidify it. It does leave a little sheen but I’m not bothered by that. That may be caused by the heat transfer. As for the knots, it seems to harden them which holds them together. It can get a little peely on the hands, kind of like a thin layer of glue, but cleans up easily. Definitely a staple for feeling good about the longevity of my products.
