Water Bottle Rocket
Works great but material could be a bit tougher as one fin broke off after about the 15 run.......

A lot of fun
Finally got to use this with my boys. It was a lot of fun. Easy to assemble - had to use ample Teflon tape on every set of threads to stop leaks. Would definitely recommend putting the nose cone on, as it made the rocket fly much straighter and farther. With the nose cone, we got about 250ft at 70 psi. Bought the parachute but it failed to deploy half the time. - probably my fault. You definitely don’t want to use anywhere near and trees - especially with the parachute. I bought a cheap bike tire pump, but it I struggled to get it to 80psi (usually launched at 60). The pump started failing at that point. Will research better/higher rated pumps - and it gets tiring pumping after a few launches. No problems with the fins breaking but we were in a grassy park. All in all, a good purchase.

Awesome - well built and hours of fun.
Easy to assemble and a heap of fun for my son (and me).Very well made, heaps of experimenting with water levels, different bottle, PSI etc.Much cheaper to launch than other rockets, just a cup of water and no danger of setting fire to the bush :-)

Reliable, well-built product
I bought this to play with my son. He loves it! The biggest issue is that I'm out of shape, which is a bit of a factor when using a bicycle pump to pump the bottles up over and over (and over and over) again. The unit is very well built, and will likely be in good functioning order well after my son is old enough that he no longer wants to play with it (at which point I'll pack it up for when I have grandchildren). There are three things to note about this product:- First, when you attach the clamp to the release mechanism, the instructions specifically state that you shouldn't over tighten the clamp. They are right; if the release mechanism is sticking, loosen the clamp until it moves freely again.- Second, while the rocket is designed to work with water, it can work using air alone. To do so, you will need to make sure that the nozzle is screwed in tight; this may require you to cut away part of the soda bottle (NOT the nozzle!). The advantage of using pure air is that it takes less pressure (and therefore less pumping with your tired arms) to make it go up high. In addition, it will fly straighter than if you use water (the instructions explain how to build a nose cone, but I haven't tested this yet).- Finally, be sure to have several rockets ready and available to use! We lost one in a tree, and if we didn't have the second one my son would have been extremely disappointed!
