Great Kitchen Aide
My wife is disabled and cannot stand for any length of time. I bought her a walker but our kitchen is very small and the walker is too bulky for that function. When I saw the picture of the roll about stool, it was a kitchen scene. I ordered it for her, assembled it in minutes, and adjusted it for her at counter height and her feet can touch the floor. She starts out standing but when her back starts to ache, she moves to the stool. It rolls easily and takes up very little room in the kitchen where it stays.

Well Worth The Price
It is like a rolling lab chair. Rolls nicely on tile. My husband is the one who uses it it - he can chop veggies at the counter while sitting down.

Dangerous on Tile Floors with Grooves
We had a stool like this about 15 years ago, but left it behind when we moved across country. We decided to look for something similar to use in kitchen now to help our backs. This chair was easy to put together. That is the best we can say about this. The seat is hard plastic and appears to be slanted downward in the front. It is so slick you side off it very easily. And the rollers are cheap, hard plastic. They catch in our grooves of our ceramic tile and I have almost fallen off, as my body went forward and the stool stopped abruptly behind me. Luckily I was able to grab the counter top to prevent from falling. We have ordered some replacement casters from Amazon ($25) which are supposed to roll over all tile grooves without a problem. If possible, we would have tried to replace the seat, but the seat is not attached as on bicycles. The seat attaches to a metal plate which has a pipe that fits into another pipe. Together it allows seat height adjustment. I am now trying to find to find a seat cover for the seat so it is not so slippery. Unfortunately, the seat is 13” x 11” which is larger than than any bicycle seat covers I could find on Amazon. I may have to try and make my own seat cover out of some type of fabric that is not slippery - denim or corduroy. We may end up spending as much money to modify this to make it safe and usable that we spent on purchasing it. My husband tossed the box it came in or I would have sent it back. Definitely do not recommend.

Tipsy stool does not roll well
If you want a comfortable stool to sit on while working at the counter or stove, this stool is great. However, if you want to be able to sit and scoot around the kitchen, this is NOT the stool for you! The casters do not roll well, and the stool is easy to tip over, whether you are sitting on it or just scooting it by itself. It is high enough that a fall from it could cause serious injury. I would definitely NOT recommend this item for a handicapped person who is hoping to be able to get around the room more easily. It would have been a good product, if they had used good casters. Sometimes saving a dollar or two is not wise.Roll About Stool

unstable
The stool tilts forward when trying to roll forward. It rolls backward ok. If I can find a way to tilt the seat upward in the front, I think it will be usable. Otherwise, it will be of no use to me.

Help in the kitchen for those who can't stand long
My elderly mother had back surgery a year ago, and since then has not been able to stand for any period of time. She had become despondent over the fact she was no longer able to prepare a dinner or dessert, because of the pain of standing. I gave her this chair for Christmas, and she was very pleased with it. Assembly was very quick and easy, and I was able to adjust the height in seconds so my mother was comfortable. She was certain it would be a big help to her, and it has given back her joy of being able to make good food again for her family and friends.

Small and compact. Slightly unstable
The smaller wheels were not as I expected...even the grout lines in the flooring were too much for the rolling and caused the stool to become unstable and possibly overturn.

Roll About Stool
One star is too high a rating for this stool. I took it out of the box, carefully assembled it and within fifteen minutes of use one of the wheels broke off. It did not roll about very easily like some stools I have seen. The seat is slightly tilted upward making for an uncomfortable time with the narrow part of the seat pressing on one's "delicate" parts. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It is flimsy and dangerous. I could have been badly hurt when the wheel broke off. I would return it but the effort to take it apart, put it in a box, drive forty miles to a UPS store is more than I can deal with. It went into the trash heap. One more disappointing piece of junk from China!
