Good quality and heavy duty. Did not work for my 5500lb UTV winch. Winch was too small. Should work great for larger winches.

Considered purchasing one at HF since our winch is their 12,000 lb one. Picked up the box and was astounded by how light it was. Looked inside and said no way does this last, and I highly doubt it is for 9000 lbs. So I looked elsewhere and ran across this, with a whole lot of positive reviews. When rating for 13,000 lbs I expected heft and strong welds. I was pleased to see I got both. Took a few minutes to assemble (would have been shorter but I goofed and put the upright handle on the left and the lower one on the right - when looking from the back side). After that was fixed a little grinding of the lower side of the cable pathway just in case, as noted by others, and it was ready. Bolts and locking nuts are 11/16 and everything turned out quite well. Quality product. I have no idea how this could get a low rating when you consider ones charging twice as much are no better than this one.

This is a good fit for my 13,000 lb winch and the mounting holes lined up perfectly with no mods or drilling required. Overall sturdiness and finish seems pretty good to me. There were no instructions included but it was fairly straightforward to put together. I put the bolt heads on the inside to maximize clearance for the big winch, it might've worked the other way too - I just didn't want to have to redo it if there wasn't enough space on the inside. I'm happy with this purchase at this point but will update this review if it fails me down the road, which I don't expect to be necessary. Just my own opinions and experience here, yours may differ. The mount itself is not bad but buy new hardware 4 of 8 bolts stripped out on me.

Ordered this one for my new Badlands 12,000lb winch from HF after looking at the HF winch mount and reading it's reviews. I wanted a receiver type mount because I will be switching the winch between two trucks. This one seems a little stronger with better reviews so I took a chance on it. It is simple to assemble with only four bolts to attach the handles. The Badlands 12,000lb winch mounting holes lined up perfectly, but be advised when mounting the roller fairlead bolts, start the bolts from the inside pointing the threaded end of the bolts toward the roller fairlead, that way the nuts and washer will be on the outside of the cradle which will allow enough room for the winch holes to line up. The mount does add about 20 lbs to the winch set up, but that's the way it is since you need it for a receiver mount. In case anyone else is interested about the Badlands winch cable lengths, they are just long enough to reach the bed of your truck where the deep cycle battery will be kept to power the winch and still be able to close the tail gate. Very satisfied with the mount.
