So I'm not exactly a wizard with a straight razor, and will say that this required a little bit of practice for me. There certainly was a learning curve, and in some cases I found it a little bit awkward trying to do double duty of holding the template in place, while focusing intently on not cutting the bejesus out of myself with the straight razor, which is extremely sharp. It certainly takes practice, and patience. That being said, once you get the hang of it, you can achieve some pretty impressive results. I have to admit, I have ordered a product or two similar to this that I didn't expect much out of. One was this strap that I wear around the back of my neck in order to give myself a line in the back of my head in order to cleanly rid myself of the hairs on the nape of my neck. I thought that tool would be garbage, but it turns out it was amazing. When I saw this one four straight lines on the beard, I didn't expect much either. I'm not going to say that it's amazing, but I am getting better with it, and it does work pretty well. I'd certainly recommend taking your time if you're not terribly experienced with a straight edge, like I wasn't. As far as achieving a nice symmetrical line on both sides of my face, I can say with confidence that it does help. All in all, it's a very inexpensive tool too try to improve your overall finish, when it comes to self grooming. I feel like it might be one of those things that continues to grow on me, and soon I'll feel like why haven't I had this all along. It's a small investment, so I would recommend giving it a try.

Unless you know how to use a razor this one is going to cut you it's not like a dermablade looks like it but doesn't act like it that's all I have to say

This trimmer razor is very well made and easy to control, due to it's extremely light weight.The handle is very rigid and easy to hold, and the blade is narrow enough to easily fit under the nose and above the moustache.The blade's length is also perfect... Not too long or too short, which makes it easy to square up the edges of my moustache easily.

If the blade gets any water on it at any point, it will start to rust within like a day or two.The shaping tool that comes with it is also extremely awkward to use and constantly gets in the way of the razor. It's almost like you're supposed to have a second person holding it up to your face.

I randomly purchased this razor, I cut my own hair and wanted to get a little fancy/shaper. For the price why not. It definitely does the job. I knicked myself but it fits in my tote bag with my clippers and has a cover guard so the blade isn't out. I didn't use the blue tool just by eye.

It was a good razor wish it would have been more sharp and didn’t dull out so fast but all in all it was pretty good
