I love how robust this prenatal is! Checks all of the boxes in terms of vitamins and quantities. The citrus insert makes it taste great too-no issues swallowing the small capsules! I divide it into 2 doses a day and I don’t get any after-taste or anything. It’s definitely given me more energy!

Love this prenatal. Going to try the citrus one next because the normal one smells pretty bad. Typically don’t mind though. A lot of pills to take, but I don’t mind since you’re getting all the nutrition you need prenatal or postpartum. I definitely noticed a difference when I’m not taking them!

Update: Needed reached out and offered a full refund and are sending their essential prenatal for me to try. That is top notch customer service! Hoping the Essentials capsules smell better 🤞Love the ingredients and the high quality of nutrients, but the smell is so horrible! Makes me wonder if these are actual needed capsules and also how these are stored at the Amazon warehouse. Perhaps that’s the issue?The smell is terrible and lingers for such a long time. Definitely not what you want to experience while pregnant. Even my husband can’t stomach the smell. Says it smells like cat pee. I don’t disagree

Ok this would normally be a 5 star review,and I’ll start with all the good: I’ve been using these for years recommended by my fertility nutritionist. They helped tremendously when I had to do IVF many times and making the switch combined with other supplements gave me embryos. 8 pills is rough, but when you’ve done enough fertility treatments you’ll do anything. Who in God’s name changed the “flavor” to citrus, just leave it the unflavored dirt flavor it’s better than the citrus on top of dirt flavor. I can barely get these down this pregnancy because of this new disgusting flavor. I just tried ordering “unflavored” I dont think they make it. Please go back. Sincerely, a very experienced customer with your product (no it’s not the pregnancy sensitivity, I’ve taken them with all 3 pregnancies just fine and off pregnancies, I noticed the change prior to pregnancy, the citrus flavor is so bad l)

I'm sure the ingredients are great, but I couldn't get down the EIGHT pills a day without gagging and getting horrible heartburn.

I feel so at ease taking needed. As an L&D nurse I’m big on quality and when I started comparing prenatals Needed really stood out, especially when it came to the dosage/percentage of each vitamin. It seemed significantly more substantial than others.I’m in my third trimester now and my pregnancy has been pretty great... Had minimal nausea, Plus my hair and skin look great. I’m thankful for a brand that follows the science and not just pretty packaging. Also, pills frequently get stuck in my throat and these have always been easy to swallow.

Great formula, horrible taste and smell. I thought because I have had zero vomiting and only mild nausea during the first few weeks of pregnancy that I could tolerate these. I was wrong. Gagging due to the rotten egg mixed with orange taste and smell every time I take them. I do 1 or 2 pills at once, all in a row for the full serving to get it over with. They also cause burping after. DHA fish oil burp and iron pill taste have nothing on the misery of taking these bad boys. Taking with food does not make it easier enough to justify buying them again.

I absolutely LOVE this prenatal! It is incredible quality and I used it throughout my 4th pregnancy and it checked all the boxes. My midwife actually suggested the brand and the vitamin content is great. I always broke it up by taking 4 in the AM & 4 in the PM! They’re easy to take, high quality, and I felt great taking it! They don’t taste bad either which was so helpful & they’re easy on the stomach :)
