Works perfect

These shocks is not what you expect I am really upset the shock pretty much exploded extending it to it max poking a hole right into the frame of my car prior to that the platic tips stripped because it cant hold the trunks weight and my trunk is not that heavy being aluminum, I had to take my car to a shop to try to weld it back because after the rain and washing my car my whole trunk was wet..Beware before you buy do not go the cheap route or end up like me. sorry not sorry! These are only meant for hotwheels.

Easy to install and they work great this far

Installed these myself and it was pretty easy to do, the issue is they almost have too much strength for the trunk of a G37. When you open the trunk it ends up bouncing open and overtime I'd imagine this might cause damage to joints that holds the trunk. That being said I got T boned a few days after installing and the car was totaled so I can't speak for whether or not this issue persists

I have a g37 coupe. There have been two issues with your product. The strut doesn’t slow down once trunk is nearing complete open position so it bounces after opening, putting strain on the metal hinge connected to the frame.Secondly, a compatibility issue, is that the ball and joint connections on the shock are facing the same direction, however on my car, they face opposite sides, so I had to slightly unscrew the top of your strut where the ball joint goes in, to align with my car.I have purchased hood struts from your company as well and although fitment is correct, it also slams up when opening and doesn’t slow down, unlike oem. I didn’t mind for the hood because I don’t open the hood often but the trunk is already annoying after few days of use.

These went right on and worked great

Do not buy, waste of money. I installed these and they lasted a couple of weeks. Plastic pieces popped off and the shock is so strong it punctured a hole in my trunk. Now water gets into my trunk when ever it rains, making my whole car smell like complete ass. I have to pay even more to get that fixed now.

Closes nicely once installed. Upon opening the trunk, flies open way too fast until half way up. Then works like expected.
