Perfect replacement battery
It even says DELL on the battery. This is the correct battery for my computer,There were 8 screws and then plug it in and the computer was operational again.This is a good battery at a fair price and it works very well.

Easy enough to install but the battery life is same than my old (end of life) battery
So I purchased this because I wanted a longer battery life. When I first got it, and installed it showed a 6 hour. "Great" I thought. I am good with this. Then I followed directions for the charging and discharging... and lo and behold 2 months later and a full battery life is about 3 hours.3 HOURS for a full battery life, that is the same as my old, original battery that came with my laptop. What the heck. I guess you get what you pay for.Also the install being easy enough is more thanks to the Dell Mfg than the battery maker.

Battery lost all charge after 6 months
I expected to get at least one year of life from this battery, but after six months of use it has lost all its charge, now it started swelling up.

Perfect fit, looks OEM
This is my 3rd battery and the best so far. It looks OEM but very well could be a clone. My last one was swelling raising the track pad and running my fan a lot! Now the fan hardly runs all is good!

Easy install, So-so battery life
I had to replace the battery in my almost 6 year old XPS for the second time in its life. This battery was a super easy install with a few screws and the plug. I am a little disappointed in the battery life but I can live with it since I am no longer chained to a wall outlet! It is definitely better than a off brand battery I previously purchased a few years ago (that one started to bulge -_-) and the price is pretty reasonable. I followed the recommended charging instructions listed on the page. This battery seems to average around 3 hours if I keep the screen on some of the dimmer settings. I think the original battery was capable of 6+ hours. I will be interested to see how long this battery lasts.

Always get brand name for best results
I got the OEM battery and it lasts me all day with nothing connected to it. If you plug in a mouse or if you're charging your phone, it will drain it faster obviously.

Not Authentic, doesn't work with Dell BIOS
You can put it in a Dell, but it's not authentic and will not charge. You'll also have a flashing amber/white light all the time.
