Squeaky rear disk brakes at first, but NO MORE squeaking after using for a week or 2
First off, I want to address the squeaky rear disk brake "issue" as it was mentioned by another reviewer. I took their review into account as they stated, I found their review very helpful but I decided to not to let it detour me from buying the kneescooter and just try or return if needed. After assembling which was fairly easy for me, I did need to put air in the tires but then it was good to test drive. Almost immediately the squeaky sound happened for me, sometimes when breaking, but primarily if I rolled backwards to back up. This squeaky noise continued for about a week, I never adjusted the brakes with the provided tools... BUT THEN, after some use around the house, taking it out to doctors appointments, and going to Costco to pick up medications, like magic the squeaking completely stopped. Literally, no adjusting needed for me, no complaints or calls to customer service, and although I've held onto the box the kneerover scooter was shipped in, I will be throwing out the box come next trash day as the Kneerover scooter All-Terrain Fusion will be not be needing to be returned like the other reviewer resorted to. I understand his frustration with the squeaking, and as someone with no mechanical or engineering background, I am convinced all the knee scooter really needed was to be 'broken in". I find the 4 wheel steering to be a great feature, and the fusions are the only one on the market with 4 wheel steering. I was rolling around for the past 6 months on a rickety plastic wheel knee scooter that I'm not sure of the brand name, and I'll be needing possibly several corrective surgeries on my left foot if it all cannot be done during one surgery. I've had a long recovery so far and still am looking at needing to be off my left foot possibly for a whole year. I'm also a single mom to a rambunctious toddler, so being on a knee scooter has been very necessary to continue being a mother. So when I decided to upgrade I was very hesitant and spent several months going back and forth on which kneerover model I wanted to replace my rickety knee scooter. The squeaky review is helpful but if you can handle a little squeaking for a week or two of breaking in the knees cooler and taking it out, really it seems to be a self corrected "issue" or "defect". I didn't oil it, or adjust, just road around in it doing what I needed to.Also wanted to state that inside I have some tiling that was so hard to roll on without getting off balance or having the handlebars jerk around on my old rickety scooter, once I got the fusion all terrain I glide across the tiles and the grout doesn't effect me at all now. Outside is great! We had our first snow day here of the season, so I tested it out and it goes fine on the snow covered concrete side walks. Rolling over sticks, leaves, rocks, cracks, with ease too.Backing up is tricky and takes some getting used to. I'm fork lift certified so I just started to try to apply the same backing up techniques and overall it's easier now. Probably once the squeaking after a week or two stopped I was experienced with reversing. Sometimes I still have to "pop a wheely" for sharp turns, but overall the turn radius is much better than any 2 wheel steering.I decided not to buy a basket as I had one on my old scooter and it was just a pain, but I bought a kneescooter bag that goes across the handle bars on Amazon from another brand and its compatible with the kneerover fusion all-terrain.I did purchase the memory pad knee cover that Kneerover makes, it's very comfortable and I feel in the long run it will help keep the actual kneescooters pad from any damage that can come over time, so I'm happy I spent the extra on the memory pad cover. My only complaint, not sure if it's really a complaint or just a disappointment for my failure to read full description provided, but the fusion cover (the difference between colors is in the fusion cover), is made from plastic. I just assumed it was a harder material like metal, but it's plastic. I'm sure there's an engineering reason for it, my only concern is is cracking or breaking easily in time. So far so good, but I don't know if those are replaceable if something does break, but I guess I'll call customer service if it does break and see if I can order one or get a free replacement for that part. But I also realized that if for some reason that part does break, it's not going to effect the overall integrity of the kneescooter. It's really just a cover to go over some of the rear brake lines. So I was a bit disappointed it was plastic, but like I said that's probably just my own fault for not noticing prior to ordering. Also when I assembled the knee scooter I searched for the assembly video on YouTube and followed along with the instruction booklet, I watched first all the way through, then watched/assembled along/paused when needed. I found that to be helpful to have a visual. From what I've heard the kneerover customer service is great and they recommend you call if you have issues especially with your brakes. To conclude my review I just want to say I'm glad I gave this kneescooter a chance even after reading about the squeaking of the rear brakes, experiencing it for the first week or two, and for realizing all the Kneerover All-Terrain Fusion needed was a little use, love, and taking it outdoors on a couple "dates", now she's not squeaking. Just like a woman, got to just give it some love, be patient and take her out on some dates to get to know her better. 😆 🤣 😂

Great heavy duty scooter
I love the stability this scooter provides. I originally purchased the $100 knee rover scooter and quickly found that it’s not the best for being out and about. The big wheels in this allows you to move quicker and without holding on to dear life every time you hit a bump or tiny rock. Turning on this thing is amazing. Definitely worth the upgrade if you can afford it. Not giving it 5 stars because I hate the “fusion” cover. It’s plastic and VERY flimsy. I have to pick this up and put it in the trunk of my car on one leg, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost fallen because the flimsy plastic cover comes off as I’m picking it up. It looks like there is a place to add screws but no screws came with it. My husband zip tied it together and it seems to help. However, for $500… I expected more than a plastic cover.

A Lifesaver!
I just recently had surgery to repair my achilles tendon and am unable to put weight on my leg. I tried using a walker, but had so much trouble and pain using it. The KneeRover is a true blessing. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble and was ready to use in no time. I can zip around my house and go outside and travel over grass, dirt and gravel with ease. I did order the extra padding which definitely makes it more comfortable and the basket, which makes it easy to carry items back and forth, so I can keep both hands on the handlebars. I recently just got my stitches out and several nurses commented on my KneeRover and said they felt how much better it was for the patient to use instead of crutches or walkers. I love my KneeRover!!!

Great knee scooter, high quality and durable
This is a little pricey at around $500 but it's definitely sturdy and highly durable. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble - the pieces are always big enough on items like these that you're simply attaching them together. Quick and easy. This one is built for some outdoor activities and harder terrain and it works great - keep your center of gravity low or go at low speeds if needed, you've already got a bum knee! But this is pretty high quality.

Such a Great Scooter
I got this to have for my foot issues. I don't have anything major yet but I feel like it will come in handy when I need it or my family does. I was surprised to see how durable this thing is and how well it manevers. My kids have been zooming it around the basement so it can handle being rough and I have used around the house as well. I can easily whip around the kitchen with how nicely it turns. The wheels are hardcore and perfect for any terrain. Setting it up was super easy as well and my 13-year-old actually put it all together in no time. When not in use or for traveling it folds up nicely. Really no issues here other than the pricetag can be high. I don't have anything to compare it to so not sure if that is a typical price or not.

Rugged, definitely helps
This KneeRover All Terrain Fusion Knee Scooter is better than I expected. It’s pretty heavy duty, appears and feels to be made of good quality. My husband likes that the wheels are rugged for rougher terrain, as not every he rolls around with this is not smooth pavement. It helped my husband to maneuver around at home and at work post heel surgery. Kids end up playing with it too when at home. The only grip he had is that the rear wheel brakes was squeaky at first but eventually wore off after time.
